Now we're sub-10 in running miles: 9:55.48! 42 second PB over my previous 10:38.32.

We're sub-11 in running miles. Today's PB crushes the previous by over a minute (-61.33 seconds), and my 1 mile PB time is now 10:38.32.

Absentee votes have been cast. Here's hoping we can stem the bleeding at least.

Two big fitness goals done. - 1,000 miles of biking in 2026 - 1st mile run (time: 12:11.60) Latter came about in a 20 minute jog that lasted over 1.5 miles.

Completed my first crossword today. The first of many? Been at it for a few weeks now.

I remember learning in kindergarten that HOMES was a useful acronym for remembering the five great lakes. A bit on the nose to change it to SHAME, isn't it?

After more than 15 years of service, today my original Kindle has turned its last page by means of a button press. A new one is on the way, but sadly, buttons are a thing of the past. I want my buttons back I don't want to swipe or tap the screen to turn the page. 🧓

I like using my keyboard and desktop, thanks. Why have a desktop sign-in at all if you're just going to not let me do anything, haha.
