Unsure whether to release this or not, but it's soooo good. - Long-lived "goal" threads for high-level discussion (I use Fable) - Task threads for implementation (I use Opus or less) - Anything that needs me is brought to my attention - All tasks show a brief before starting

Okay... I do think B2C (and most SMB) software is dead πŸ’€ The better I get at using these tools, the more I see it. I can build a polished cross-platform native app in less time than app review takes to reject it. In a given day, I'm working across 3-5 projects at once.

There is really not much left that the agent can't do. Just bring Fable your idea, it helps you refine it, Opus builds it, you use the prototypes, complain about it, Fable suggests fixes and improvements. Do this loop ~10 times and you have a perfect app in a day or two.

App development will soon just be your agent interviewing you, showing you designs, and handing you the product. There will still be OTS software but every product category will be flooded with super polished apps that don't differentiate. Am I wrong?

I’m switching roles at Yaak, from product to growth. It's much more capable than the 5k DAU would suggest. Right now the top of the funnel is: - people searching for Yaak by name - word of mouth - AI-driven recommendations (yay)

I'll still be shipping product, but focusing on features that help collaboration and retention: onboarding, imports, sharing, and the stuff that helps Yaak spread. We'll see how it goes!

Most of Yaak's product dev is now automated via a feedback -> task -> implement -> review -> ship loop, powered by MCP. It's time to build a growth loop using the same principles. First step is monitoring the internet for signals that can turn into marketing tasks.

August recap for Yaak πŸ’Ή MRR: $4,865 (+4.4%) πŸ’° Revenue: $5,586 (+14.9%) πŸ’Ό Subscribers: 432 (+0.9%) Missed the July recap, but things are moving in the right direction again. June was Yaak's first-ever monthly MRR decline, so seeing +4.4% this month feels pretty good. Slow and steady πŸ“ˆ
