What I’m noticing more and more is that people don’t care if something is AI. They like it because it’s entertaining/shares their world view. It’s a losing battle to appeal to these people based on merits of stealing from artists or the environment. They just literally do not care.

Had a guy in a local band tell me he ‘doesn’t fuck with all the trans people in the scene’ to which I replied ‘is it because they’re so much better at music than you?’ He did not like that answer, lmao. Get fucked bozo.

People need to understand the psychology behind fascist and right-wing ideology. We’ve been told to ignore their intolerance so as not to legitimize them, but the opposite is true: they see the lack of response to their action as victory. It’s when they are met with response that they stand down

People on twitter want memes and video game references and I’m not really sure they’ll be receptive to an album about meaningful purpose and societal systems collapsing. Will Bluesky? Because so far we haven’t seen too much love here, either.

It really does feel like social media is just TV static. People post on here, they’ll promote their bands or movements or, but no meaningful change has occurred. It’s just noise. Nothing gained, only time lost. The wave of the future.

And since this has no meaningful impact, the tastemakers have none either. To fill the void, culture is now selected by the most powerful; the rich or the well connected. The “promise” of social media was that anyone’s message could get out there. What actually happened is just power consolidation

to say we’ve put everything we have into these 12 tracks would be an understatement. This has cost us nearly everything we have. There is pain, anger and real anguish behind this, and we weren’t content with making something that was fun to hear, we wanted to leave a mark.

Every day feels like the worst day & then it happens again. The load we carry day in and day out comes at a cost, one day that bill comes due. There is no message of hope on this album, there is no moral to this story; just like the world we inhabit, it simply is and then was.
