Ryan Beatty was absolutely spellbinding last night. An intimate concert that captured everyone’s attention. What a star.

Forgot to post this earlier: Beautiful morning in Dublin for a run, eh? Best of luck to all those taking part in the Dublin Marathon today - especially @patrickkelleher.bsky.social! I being such a wonderful boyfriend will be racing myself (i.e. Normal Gay walking pace) to see him in a few spots.

I just paid 15 (fifteen) Euro for a negroni in Street 66. Holy God like.

This was me around 2018 and then I properly dived in after “Disco” was released. The rest, as they say, is history (I’ve spent so much money on that woman - feels a bit like a Ponzi scheme at times!).

Been thinking of getting into Kylie Minogue recently

Work done for the week. Bank Holiday weekend can finally begin. Spending most of it in… Dublin :’(

BUT it will be fun as I’ll be following Patrick around as he completes the Dublin Marathon. Then seeing Ryan Beatty live on Sunday night 😍

I was so excited that I started shouting “Mary Todd Lincoln is doing Jane Krakowski in London!” and had to stop myself and start again.

Patrick literally ran into the office to tell me this. Don’t think we’ve ever booked West End tickets so fast. Fourth time seeing it, but with JANE KRAKOWSKI!? Oh this will be life-changing!

JANE KRAKOWSKI OH MARY LONDON THIS IS NOT A DRILL I REPEAT JANE KRAKOWSKI OH MARY LONDON

Ran up a hill this evening and made a deal with God that when I’m passing SuperValu and if there’s a parking space right outside the door, I’ll go in and get a bottle of Kylie and two bars of Dairy Milk for exactly €13 as I have it in cash from the weekend. Let’s just say… God has a plan for us all.

I am getting so much mileage out of "Day and Night" (plus the 8 new tracks too). It's a bit deranged how Carly Rae has delivered a 32-track album with no bad tracks. What an incredible body of work.

"Chambers says strike action will bring 'unnecessary disruption' for public" - WHAT!? A strike will cause DISRUPTION??? Daddy Warbucks is upset! STOP THE STRIKE! Seriously, is that the best thing Jack (Daddy Warbucks) could come up with? Solidarity with all those striking tomorrow. Up the workers!

Do you wanna be friends with me? Do you wanna get something to eat? Do you wanna come over, watch a movie (and you know what that means)? Do you wanna make lov-HEY THERE SEÁN, maybe these questions are a bit too much for your Bluesky followers.

Saw “The Lost Children of Tuam” tonight. Not the easiest watch, but if you get the chance to see this film, please do. Monica Dolan is truly magnificent. And the story… well, it’s a story everyone should know about. A shameful part of Ireland’s past that we don’t talk about enough.

Will never financially recover from London over the last few days. Truly don’t understand how anyone lives there. Then again, are they too seeing countless shows and getting wine at every one then going for more drinks after (oh, and before)?

Got to personally thank both Christine Baranski (my little gay heart!) and Richard E. Grant for a wonderful performance of “Hay Fever” at the stage door tonight 🤩

Wait, you know what? … I'm cute, I'm so cute And I will never, ever, ever forget that I'm cute, so gosh dang cute Girl, everything about me snatched Cute Cute ‼️

(I see no one got this. Please go and educate yourself by listening to the soon-to-be Grammy-winning album “Crave” by Meg Stalter)

Me: I’m not seeing “Oh, Mary!” for the third time when I’m in London next weekend! *Has two glasses of Kylie’s Sauvignon and discovers stall tickets for £28* Me: I’m seeing “Oh, Mary!” for the third time when I’m in London next weekend!

Started reading @mcragg.bsky.social’s “Can’t Get You Out Of My Head: In Search of Kylie” this evening. I’ve been looking forward to this one, and I’m really enjoying it so far!

I’ve spent much of today finally reading @scottygb.bsky.social’s wonderful “Out Now”. Carly Rae has been soundtracking the time in between. It’s been a very gay Sunday, which is obviously the best kind of Sunday.

Louder for the people in the back!

World is going to shit but thank god for Carly Rae Jepsen.

I’ve just heard Carly Rae Jepsen’s “Burning Heart” for the first time and I’m a bit devastated that I’ll never have that experience again. Fucking hell.

Between work and being social tomorrow, I don’t think I’ll have enough time to properly listen to Carly Rae’s “Day and Night” (and Meg’s “Crave”!) 😭 If only I could take a sick day (and actually get paid for it but heaven forbid).

Best win of the night!

There's a bottle of Kylie rosé in our fridge and it's been there for a few weeks now. Unheard-of behaviour, but it's kind-of nice to know it's just... there? Like in case anything happens.

“Fabulous” from “High School Musical 2” was playing in Easons Galway today. Taste!

I love that this ever-so-slightly oppressive signage make it looks like Britain is living under the authoritarian dominion of Judy Garland’s brutal regime:

Paused our first ever viewing of “Scrubs” (a few episodes into season three and it’s quite boring) to finally start “Adults” instead. I love when TV is fun!

Got a good laugh from this post because I felt the exact same when I finally finished it. Seasons one and two were pretty great, but Christ was the rest of it a slog (especially season five - fucking hell).

Did I mention that I finally fucking finished The Bear

A little mortifying to revisit my Tumblr from many moons ago (via the Wayback Machine - that blog is long gone!). But it did make me reminisce for those days when spending time online was a bit more purposeful and fun. Now we’re always online, wasting time, and dealing with quite scary algorithms.

Saw “Leviticus” last night (thank you Omniplex Sligo!) and I’m still a bit stunned at how brilliant it was. A heartbreaking film that deserves so much more attention than it’s getting.

Now that autumn is here, it's time to plan some holidays to look forward to. Back to London at the start of Oct. which everything is mostly sorted for, just need to pick out some shows to see. Then in Nov., we're looking at heading back to Madrid - only been there once so would be nice to see again.

Same, especially around lunchtime (assuming they’re fantasising about soup).

My niece is starting school tomorrow. It is honestly horrifying. Where did the last five years go??? I hope she gets on okay 🥺

The evil that is the Instagram app has now been deleted!!1! I was forced to get it so I could post to stories during my hashtag influencer phase while promoting Pride. Last post up there now. I’ll be checking-in on the web every now and then as it’s the only way to keep up with friends. Hate that :(
