People often ask why Democrats don’t have something like TurningPoint USA — so before the year ends, let me introduce you to Voters of Tomorrow. We’re on campuses across the country, organizing over 10,000 Gen Z members to engage our generation. 🧵THREAD

I’ve never understood the appeal of Airbnb. Why would I pay $250/night + a $200 cleaning bill to stay at a rando’s house and deal with their crazy rules when I can stay at a Holiday Inn with breakfast included for $150???

I stayed at a Marriott last week and paid $175. Didn’t have to wash any towels, any dishes, and accidentally left make up on a pillow. Got my whole deposit back. Meanwhile Airbnb host Marianne is charging someone a $500 cleaning fee because they forgot to mow the lawn and walk her dog.

“I’m making my kids fly back and forth between Iowa and Kansas to try and pretend we live in Iowa” is not the spin that he thinks it is

If polls end up underestimating Democrats, young voters will be why. I’ve been doing this job for almost 9 years. I’ve never seen young voters be more enthusiastic to turn out against Republicans.

Today’s NYT poll shows that ***70%*** of voters 18-29 say they are almost certain or very likely to vote. Democrats win them by 44-points. For perspective, 2018 had the highest turnout ever for a midterm. 28% voted and Democrats won them by 35-points.

I promised to stop prognosticating after 2024, so I won’t. But I think there’s a very real possibility that we are about to see something unprecedented.

VOT has deployed $1.5M across over 100 campuses this year. And we’re not just organizing to win this election — we’re organizing to win in 2028, and to push back against groups like TurningPoint USA.

I'll be on The Weeknight on MSNOW tonight to talk about VOT's efforts to mobilize Gen Z voters and how they'll vote out Republicans this November. Tune in at 7pm!

There are children in middle school today whose parents were not yet born the last time James Carville was relevant.

🤔 James Carville: “I’d rather Republicans keep the house by 5 than Dems win by 5… Because then they’re hostage to DSA, and Hakeem can’t move.” 😬Bill Kristol: “Good point.” So afraid of DSA folks who want M4ALL, etc. they’d rather Republicans hold power. Unreal. True colors.

Donald Trump and Republicans made beer expensive. So we sent coasters to college bars to remind Gen Z that they can vote to make beer cheaper in just two weeks.

When we said we'd meet Gen Z wherever they were, we meant it.

The excitement I’m feeling amongst Gen Z is something I haven’t felt since 2018. It’s maybe even greater. A lot of people will be shocked on Election Day.

👀 Numbers to watch: voters 18-24 currently make up ~4% of early votes in North Carolina, compared to 3% at this point in 2022. Doesn’t tell us anything about how Gen Z is voting, but good indicator that they are.

LA! Election Day is just 2 weeks away, but the battle for young voters is still being fought. VOT and Grassroots Democrats HQ need your help to finish strong. So come hang out with me and a few special guests and help us resource our organizers across the country ⬇️

At flytedesk we've been polling students in battleground states — and Democrats’ advantage is clear. Democratic candidates have a 50-point lead on the generic ballot, a 9-point increase from February 2026👀⬇️

The thing about waves is that when they hit, they hit hard. Getting from 47 Senate seats to 51 is a lot harder than getting from 51 to 54, and that’s tougher than getting from 54 to 56. Will it happen? Who knows! But we gotta work like it’s doable, because it is.

And in Arizona! I couldn’t be more excited about officially jumping in for Gov. Hobbs and JoAnna Mendoza. Gen Z voters will play a critical role in getting them over the finish line — and we’re gonna do everything we can to make it happen. coppercourier.com/news/politic...

coppercourier.comExclusive: Nation’s largest Gen Z voter group endorses Hobbs, MendozaThe Gen Z-led group plans to reach more than 35,000 Arizona students through phone banks, peer-to-peer outreach, and digital organizing efforts ahead of Election Day.

After 2024, I don’t understand how anyone thinks early vote trends mean anything at all. But, oh well. Republicans coping by analyzing it are gonna have a very rough realization come November 3rd. 🤷‍♂️

Voters of Tomorrow is investing $3M to take back the House. There’s three seats in particular where young voters can have an outsized impact. ⬇️

Calling the massive energy and water demands of server farms a "necessary need" while climate change ravages local agriculture tells you everything about GOP priorities. Big Tech’s AI slop gets priority grid access, while Iowans get higher utility bills and depleted water tables.
