Justice in America has always been applied in direct proportion to the person's bank account. That is why you never see a wealthy person having that "inspirational" story of being wrongly convicted, only to be exonerated decades later. That only happens to the poor.

Nobody had a right to complain about the SCOTUS now, if you didn't care at all that there was no investigation after Propublica exposed justices taking bribes.

The constitution is just another piece of paper if nobody upholds it.

It kills me that Democrats pander to GOP voters whose main complaint is that they can't stand that we call out their bigotry, misogyny and homophobia. If you truly believe that a majority of Americans are good people, then you shouldn't want to court those voters, you should want to defeat them.

ALL Americans are hurting and paying more for things because of the high price of diesel caused by Republicans. MANY businesses are hurt, EVERYONE pays more for everything. So why the hell should farmers get our money in a bailout - especially when 75% of them voted for this.

That takes something beyond courage. Imagine still standing up for what's right knowing that accountability didn't happen the last time Democrats had power and there certainly won't be any under Trump. Being a whistleblower is basically risking everything to piss in the wind.

The threshold for felony theft is as low as 200 dollars in some states. Poor people go to jail for felony theft. Rich people commit fraud to the tune of hundreds of millions of dollars and remain free to become president. You are only guaranteed the justice you can afford in America.

The fact that the Trump administration is working to segregate disabled children from schools at the same time they are trying to integrate unvaccinated children, pisses me off to no end.

My dad was a public school teacher; and he always said the toughest parts of the job were: 1. Having to pay for your own classroom chalk, and 2. Performing gender-reassignment surgeries during class hours w/out parents finding out.

Capitalism is hysterical. The only good thing to come out of the fascist takeover of America, is the thriving cottage industry of books on how to save democracy.

I will never understand this phenomenon of expecting dishonorable people to do honorable things. What did you expect people that attempted a coup to do if they got power? That is why the Garland DOJ's failure to hold anyone of consequence accountable for their crimes was so catastrophic.

What is outrageous, is that educated, legal pundits would think the people that committed a coup would respect norms, the constitution and the rule of law if they managed to take power. This is insulting to our intelligence.

I'm know I'm not voting for accountability. I am not foolish enough to think there will be any with the way our legal system is currently constructed. I am voting because Democrat control will at least be a slowing of the horrors we are facing right now, so it is crucial that they win.

I’d feel extremely safe on this flight because I already know they had to work twice as hard, be twice as good and make half as many mistakes just to get into those seats. Black women make up less than 1% of professional pilots. Yeah, I’d sleep good on this flight. ✈️
