Saethwr 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁷󠁬󠁳󠁿 FURC26 and SCOTIA27

New pinned comment as a page intro I guess. I'm Saethwr. Welsh derg sometimes protogen) and FF14 nut. Proudly pan and enjoying my current fitness drive.

Maybe looking at the Swansea half for next year.. Which just so happens to fall on my birthday.

New deadlift PB at 138kg for 10 reps. That's a good way to end the month^^

Pretty sure my reaction to physical affection should not be confusion and not really knowing what to do yet at the same time wanting to be held and cuddled. What the hell have I mentally berried to cause that?

Cofiwch Aberfan.

Not everyday you wake up to see your car insurance renewal for next year is lower by triple figures but I'll take it.

Found the lad at Camp Whispering Screams. #VRCSpookality26

Thats a first. Go to buy protein pud for lunch. Guy marches past and sweeps the whole shelf clean. Good thing the normally £3 moose was half price.

Sports massage was veeerrrryyy much needed. Feeling so much better now.

And a hip thrust pb. 150kg for 10 reps I've earned tomorrow's sports massage.

Sport massage booked for Thursday. This is gonna hurt sooooo gooooood.

ive collected all the genders to power a beam that gives sonic dysphoria

Has anyone figured out how to get eye tracking working from Steam Frame in VR chat?

Damn I'm gonna eep well after that running session tonight.

Well I know I did my deadlifts right yesterday. Hamstrings are on fire and walking feels weird ^^

New deadlift PB^^ 128kg for 10 reps.

I'm gonna say something that might make me lose furry cred points. I....really don't like karaoke, like at all. Maybe it something to do with me being classically trained but its...really not my thing. You all sing your hearts out though^^ Don't let me stop you^^

Thursday Hill running session and a Park Run yesterday where the first 2km was an uphill incline. Legs are currently divorcing the rest of my body.

If being forced to do Copilot training at work isn't bad enough, the face is voiced by several AI voices is making sure I never use it even after I complete it.

And it's spooky month. Time to leave my window open for any werewolfs/werewolfess that need someone to "snuggle" during the nights.

Ok so while the "official" third party prescription lenses for the frame might have fallen through, I have found a German based company that will ship to the UK. Hopefully, should be able to sort it by the end of the week.

Gym was good yesterday. Trainer is still obsessed with wall balls but we went through new stuff which was fun. Also match my current Deadlift (with a trap bar) PB yesterday. Need to nail technique and then we'll go higher ^^

So the perscription lenes for the Steam Frame are Mainland US only? Not impressed >.<

Will be interesting to see what f0olks make after this^^ My guy ain't changing. Still the uncommon Protogen Sage^^

When someone asks if I want tea.

I've only used this today for all of 30 mins for set up and a quick VRChat test. Already loving it. This is such a comfy lightweight headset to use. Having the battery set as the back head strap balances it out so nicely. Still gonna get lenses but this doesn't embed glasses into your face at all.

Yesterday: Oh neat, Frame is with the courier. Should have it by the end of the week. Literally half a hour ago: Yeeaahhh it's arriving today.

Made a friend at Cosmeston today.

Hoping for good(ish)weather tomorrow. I NEED to get back to park running again.

Wait the Reservation list is the good result? Well crap I have a target on my forehead now^^

On the reservation list for the Frame. S'all good I can wait^^

...... Why am I looking at a Half Marathon in Italy for march? I'm gonna be taking enough leave for my birthday and Scotia the month before.

Anyone still use Pokémon Sleep? Could do with some friends on there.

It's FRrrAaaMMMMeeEee tiiiimmeeee!!!!!

Slight cold relapse due to Thursdays rather wet run. No park run today just to be safe.

So I have my first pair of Skechers....NOIT slip ones I hasten to add... How middle aged does that make me?

Oh yeah, was back at fitness Wednesday after finally kicking con crud:s ass. PB of 140kg hip thrusts and 100kg wide lat pull downs. Worst part is my PT reckons I can go higher on the hip thrusts.....and I think he's right.

After a week I finally get to go on FF14 tonight. Get the MSQ sorted first then on to Beastmaster ^^

Machinist arms my Expie could use (yes I'm going for it). They would have to be older looking or kinda steam punky in a way. Think something he found burried before he escapes Gray Planet. That kinda why he has the Luger in VRChat currently. It feels like something you'd find and just end up using.

And with that the South Wales 10k series is done. My home town Cardiff in 56:59. All events completed in under an hour even with my ankle injury in June and my heavy cold this week. Cardiff was meant to be my first ever 10k pre COVID and to finish my first series with it is amazing^^

Huh..... So what explains all the Pool Room worlds in VRChat....

Ok we know what Sage weapons my protogen has. What machinist weapon should my expie have....or do I just have him keep the Luger and strap the machinist box to him?

Ok guys..... hear me out.......

I...might have had an idea for my Expie 0_0. They are all clones right? Experiments, blanks, nothing on them. Isn't there an ranged FF14 job stone, that's all blank, nothing on it, just waiting to be developed.....

My first #FursuitFriday in a hot minute^^ Some taken of me at @aberacon.wales

How to tell you very much middle aged. Genuine thought i just had. "Hey since I'm in town for my 10K on Sunday I can shop for a new belt afterwards" No hope for me >.<

Just my legal government first name for the "Use your name to find a GIF" thing Hell yeah^^

The blue eyed Expie continues to explore above ground. World is Fractured Winter by Lavryou, One of the Worlds in Venice Immersive 2026 on VRChat

I know I gotta do the Guernsey park run at some point. But I Reeeaallllyyyy want to head back to Jersey again some time. It was lovely there.
