This has been such an insanely eventful week, both in terms of personal life, industry news, world news - both bad and good! But I feel like I'm stuck in a state of whiplash just processing all of it still 😵‍💫 Anyone else?

During the brazilian elections we learned one obvious but important tactic to defeat the far right on the Internet and I think everyone should know it: IGNORE THEM! DON'T ENGAGE WITH THEIR CONTENT! DON'T MAKE CONTENT REACTING TO THEM! DON'T HATE QRT! LET THEM ALONE IN THEIR BUBBLE!

It's been an absolutely brutal period for the games industry, and every studio closure brings more rage and sadness. Rightly so. This is the first time I've seen a studio closure feel so much like a funeral, or celebration of life. Hats off to Bioware. God, we'll miss you.

I know it's a meme but, I'll admit, this one got me. 😔

I realized I've mostly shared just my Dragon Age fanart retrospective, so here is some Mass Effect love from a bygone era as well 💙 Even though Dragon Age gripped me for longer, Mass Effect was my first RPG love, and I still think of it often.

I used to joke that if I got an euro every time someone asked me if I had worked on Dragon Age, I'd have enough money to buy Bioware. Ha, I wish! Playing DA: Inquisition was a turning point in my life, it helped me find myself as an artist and I will never forget that. Pretty sure it still shows!

Dragon Age has been one of the franchises that inspired the most art from me over the years 💙 A little retrospective, from newest to oldest (circa 2014).

Honestly this has been one of the toughest years of my life, so much loss, health issues, radical changes & seeing Bioware close its doors really takes the cake right now. Dragon Age really pushed me to grow as an artist over the years. This series & community will always be close to my heart.

BioWare closing rings the same hollow bell in my soul as WB and Paramount becoming “Skydance.” Across movies, TV, publishing, games, we’re watching decades of legacy and history being hijacked and fed to the furnace of an abyssal engine with no desire beyond the abstract concept of “More.”

Ill never forget the true artistic renaissance that dragon age inquisition spurred back in 2015 tumblr. The community was so creative and awesome, everyone making or commissioning tarots of their inquisitors… I’ll forever be grateful to BioWare for the push they gave to art lovers like me
