JSConf JP 2026で登壇することになりました。11月22日(日)、東京のベルサール神田で開催されます。 タイトルは「Oseo:SBCLスタイルのJavaScript/TypeScript AOTコンパイラ」。

🎊 srvx has reached v1.0 🎊 Two years ago, I went on an ambitious quest. My dream was to make export default { fetch } a universal consistent format for servers. srvx has been adopted and battle-tested by Nitro, H3, Elysia, TanStack, and many others projects 🖤

It seems like it is time to stop Rust from depending on unnecessary crates, much like the JS ecosystem.

A diff tool using gpui has insane perf. It's cool how all the diff code is always highlighted.

I am gradually migrating from using winget and Scoop together to mise. Eventually, the plan is for only mise to be managed by winget.

I always use GitHub Desktop and am used to the GUI, so I'm trying to make a Git GUI client that works with Tangled.

To be honest, Nix and Homebrew are basically the same thing to me—just package managers for specific platforms, not everything.

I was trying to set up tangled, and that's when I first realised the issues with DID.

maybe soon

I’m trying to port micro quickjs to Rust using Sol. I’m looking for a tiny JavaScript runtime written entirely in pure Rust.

IMO, it’s fine for npmx to be an opinionated npm viewer. I’m waiting for e18e to flag next as having alternatives, haha.

Got it building without cc using c2rust, but it’s still full of C ABI shims.

I’ve been using TanStack Start more often instead of Next.js lately, and unlike Next.js, I haven’t run into any issues at all.

For most engineers, language specifications don't really matter; the ecosystem is everything.

I wanted to use Rsbuild, but unfortunately, there is no plugin for Cloudflare.

Hey everyone, let's stop relying on AI and using actions/checkout@v4. The latest version is v6.

It just means you need to double-check that you're on the latest version.

Deno will use this crate

VoidZero@voidzero.dev

Rolldown is now available as Rust crate and will be published continuously there in addition to npm. crates.io/crates/rolld...

Windows users should use Codex. It is clearly superior to Claude Code. Codex won't end up writing meaningless shell scripts.

It seems some people dislike defaulting to "npm:", but I like it. From the day they announced npm support, this really should have been a default feature.

Deno@deno.land

Deno 2.8 is released! - 6 new subcommands - defaulting to "npm:" - Node.js api compat: 42% → 74% - import defer - 3.6× faster cold npm installs - Network debugging in Chrome DevTools - TypeScript 6 - catalog: support - Cross-platform npm installs - deno install --prod

The plugin has 'unplugin' in its name, but it doesn't actually depend on the plugin now. It depends on it in a spiritual sense 😅

As I have only fixed the deps, I would like to make further improvements in the next minor version, which will include breaking changes.
