CBC reports an international tribunal has issued an interim ruling that Canada's treatment of Indigenous Peoples constitutes an ongoing genocide. Agree or disagree, the questions raised about accountability, reconciliation, and truth deserve serious discussion.

Heartfelt thanks to Joseph Carens, Madison Powers and Serena Parekh for their book reviews of our volume "Forced Migration and Health Justice", Oxford University Press, 2026, which we discovered only yesterday.

Immense gratitude to all the contributors of this work of documentation, indignation, contestation, sorrow and hope for a better world. It was a labour of love, solidarity and rigorous academic activism in dark times. Embroideries of Aya Haidar, front/back covers, based on testimonies of migrants.

Yesterday, five-year-old Liam and his dad Adrian were released from Dilley detention center. I picked them up last night and escorted them back to Minnesota this morning. Liam is now home. With his hat and his backpack.

Quel parcours!
