Bisexual cats will be okay with anything. And straight cats will get angered if paired up with the same gender, unless they're gender neutral. Gender neutral cats can still get mad if they're gay and are paired up with a female cat, or if they're lesbian and they're paired up with a male cat.

You'll be able to see their gender and sexuality in the pet scanner item that I'm adding. Also instead of the gayness stat that is in mewgenics, I decided to make the pets fall under more specific sexualities based on their gender.

and it just kinda feels wrong for them to lose interest if you make them fall in love? I feel like I would rather there be consequences for doing this rather than it not being a possiblity at all and removing an ability from the game.

Every pet will have a gender and sexuality now. If you pair up a pet with another of gender that doesn't align with their orientation, they'll start attacking each other and the baby will have their stats lowered. It feels cruel adding this stuff and testing it but it adds depth to the gameplay

But they're really only a problem when you look through specific spaces like latest submissions. Or there might be mature content on frontpage so I don't recommend EVERYONE to move there, unless they avoid stuff. But ugghhh it's amazing and if you don't mind you should definitely make an account

+ to add they host lots of events to engage with the community like art/animation collabs, themed events, any celebratory days. Which can have even monetarily rewards for up to top 10 pieces. It's really insane and I super highly recommend moving there!

They have features that help boost the reach of your stuff. Like weekly takeover tuesdays where supporters can feature a drawing they like on the home page. Front paging, which moderators and the admin of the platform can do to push your art to the front page of the site (happened twice to me : D)

I don't even know how to feel. I'm really disappointed in bluesky. Even if they backed out from supporting this and apologized I just wouldn't be able to trust them, because of a switch up like this even being possible. They just built their platform off of twitter and ai hate, and all they do

it go down like that. I was considering just going back to twitter if everything goes to shit on here, since there wouldn't be any other place, but I think I just dislike twitter in general because of the algorithm and just the platform and elon. I'll see what I'll do, maybe I'll try to switch

I didn't bother with talking about it before but I have seen the small instances of bluesky's weird relationship with ai and I'm growing more uncomfy with how they're slowly giving into it more and more. I don't know what I'll do yet, I might just move again but dunno where.

is stay there and promote the ai garbage : < At least they don't train off of our art, right? Because there's no way they would change their mind about that too!!! I don't know where to feel safe anymore when it comes to posting art and about myself.

I'm done planning everything out on paper for the minegenics update and the scope got really big. Once it's all written out, it makes it a lot easier to implement so I can do it I think. I'll start implementing it once I'm done with the two remaining art requests.

Here's the character! I made two versions, one based on some sketches you made of the character before that I've seen! I added some of my own little changes so I thought it'd be good to make a version without them in case you'd prefer that!!

I'll try to get done with the art requests by the end of this month. Then I'll focus on minegenics in november and try to finish the 1.3.0 update by the end of that. And in december if I feel good about it I'll probably just try to set up comms. Make some art examples and finally start taking them
