I'm working on a #linux #hyprland setup for streaming. Just added a current_scene indicator - when "privacy" scene is selected, it flashes It's also shows audio meters and frame drops So I can rely on my hotkeys to switch the OBS scene and be sure that privacy mode engaged #obs #streaming #twitch

It is WYSIWYG streaming setup for everyday usage, where I could stream software development/gaming/etc in raw open format So what I see is exactly what viewers see

Wow, beautiful art design!

I might need to tone the spotlights down for epilepsy reasons but here's a preview of the final ui rework for Piper's Psalm inputs :> #gamedev #indiedev #godot #solaire

It's actually one of my gestalts -- actually try to learn to fix things. I've already collected many broken devices, and think that may be _this_ is actually thing I really want to do in my live: fix robots, bring joy of restoring old gadgets

shuut, my setup is broken, I'm sorry, not today. May be tomorrow. I had a separate streamer laptop but now it misbehaves (no audio at all)

May be I should consider porting my game (rpekarsky.github.io/the-ring/) for Playdate console..? Sadly I do not have the device, but I think that crank would fit perfect here! I were originally developed it for Tizen App Challenge in 2014 for Samsung Gear Watch 2 #gamedev #playdate #wearable

Let me share with you some beautiful screenshots from Eve Frontier community Discord channel Art Direction in this game is peak 😍 #artdirection #EveFrontier

Don't get me wrong, for auto completion, research, learning, even vibe-coding it is completely fine, until you reach a point when your fundamental project pipeline actually becomes unpredictable money sucking black ~hole~ box. Keep that for corps.

But building a workflow that is fundamentally uses AI as a main dependency, for an independent game studio... don't you see irony here? I use AI a lot, I'm completely AI-native and I'm obsessed with that /tool/.

But for an indie game perspective, where process is a hobby and the output product is actually an ART object, I think it is wrong.

I highly doubt that, and even it you are - how long doesn't it take for full CI cycle? Every iteration will require a manual QA, a lot of it. Optimizations, that is crusual for modern fps games would drift if there is any at all.

Moreover, you a small indie studio and AI-first workflow is basically means that you should spent $$$ for every iteration... AI is a excellent tool I could not even imagine having 3 years ago, and I'm using it A LOT, I've even participated on its training.

You are building whole pipeline on a foundation of non-deterministic tool, It is fine for very fast scaffolding and perfect for prototyping. But what then? Do you have a robust and explicit testing environment to be sure that you wont break something?

You are up to date.
