flying cars are so funny because we've been able to make them for like a hundred years. it's not for lack of technology that no one ever tried to send one to production!
digger rockwell visited my church confirmation group when i was a kid. greeted everyone, asked us our names. his hands were cold as hell, skin like wax. faint smell of dr pepper and tobacco on his breath. i came down with a minor illness shortly afterward.
the word "boycott" comes from the Irish, when they socially ostracized an actual guy named Lord Boycott who evicted people from their land during a bad harvest year. how did i never know this until today? that fucking rocks
all of the car dealership discourse has got me thinking that a lot of people have not bought a car in awhile. or are just, like, bad at it.
dealers will sell you a car online now. they will drop it off at your house. you don't ever have to interact with them. it's fine.
i guess if this "ai is going to kill us all" thing is enough to get people in charge to actually regulate it, fine??? cool. it's fake, but ends, means, and all that.
