Thinking about how I went to Karaoke and when I got home told my partner "just so you hear it from me, I sang a song about a guy who's in love with a promiscuous hooker" and they laughed and asked why "Because it's a Led Zeppelin song and it was fun to sing I meant NOTHING by it" They laughed more

Mainly I told em because "if you heard it from anyone else it's worse than it actually is" which started a discussion on how our friends would react to me just belting out depressing love blues.

I was talking to a friend of mine about music and realized I wanted to talk about who I'm listening to and hopefully get a share thread going or something. So, if you follow me and see this, please drop a band or two in the replies so we can share music with each other!

Started a new Vinyl Collection journey today, trying for all of Queen's albums, considering most of The Beatles, and got some Rush albums.

Ok so we tried going to an Italian spot, and the gal was like "I'm sorry, if you came earlier or came later we could seat you. So sorry!" Meanwhile, there were 20 open tables and only like 5 people seated.

I will not name drop the place but they should reconsider their business practice, cause we easily would have dropped so much money to eat there. Their loss I guess, have fun with your empty tables and shitty fountain/pool dudes

It is always wild to me when a creator I've followed for years and don't know anything about their personal life mentions an event or something that's near me. Like, I picture the Internet as a vast ocean where people aren't necessarily near me, it's wild to see so many cool peeps from WA State.

Something I have been guilty of in the past. Always good to keep people aware of this, esp since more and more lately people have been dehumanizing folks in the industry. They're doing their best.

Saw a post about "character cosmetics unlocking via progression" for one game type and I argue we should have that for ALL game types. Cosmetics unlocked by feats is one of the most satisfying bragging rights things ever. "Dude, how'd you get those shoulder pads?" "I time trialed 3-5 under 3 min"

This is something from Halo 2 and Halo 3 I wish had caught on more. Instead we kept "buy horse armor" from that era and are worse for it

Share a game you've never played before but love the art style. Worst thing is, I own both this and the second game, but never played them... Maybe I should fix that

Listening to all the Beatles music at work today. I am someone who historically gives The Beatles shit, calling most of their stuff "overhyped". Then Rubber Soul comes on. Genuinely after listening to 5 albums of the same "rock and roll boy band" sound, Rubber Soul had me like:

Ngl I've ALWAYS said The Beatles sound better after Rubber Soul. Revolver, Sgt Pepper's, all their music has way more soul once they hit that 5th album. That's not saying the first few albums were bad, they just don't grab me the same way that, say, Zeppelin 2 or 3 does.

So I don't use Tumblr very often, but when I post dubs I always post them there to keep that side up to date. Today I got a message from a new follower. It was the "I accidentally reported you, check it out" scam again. Be smart, know the signs, don't fall for their traps.

The good news is I can just "report and block" and move on. There isn't a reporting tool in the WORLD that doesn't have you go thru that site's representatives to resolve, and typically it's AFTER you get banned.

Some things I noticed while listening to the Deltarune Soundtrack: -Songs from Chpt 2 don't loop like every other chapter's songs do -Chpt 2 songs almost all fade out -Chpt 2 has no less than 5-7 songs that start with the same 4 bars Chpt 2 was apparently a turning point for Toby xD

Could not be happier that we stream on YouTube. Not because they're doing a better job, but because they aren't pulling crap like this (to my knowledge)
