They can't keep cutting the workforce in favour of AI without some kind of base level universal income. Something has to give. Maybe the first tech billionaire in a guillotine will help stop this madness ..

Given that Americans seemingly cannot walk anywhere in towns and cities where pedestrianization is a cardinal sin (all hail, V8) - the fuel shortages are going to hit HARD.

Now is the perfect time to donate to the RNLI, even if it's a small one-off or monthly amount. They save lives. The only TRAITORS in this scenario are the Nazi wife-beating football hooligans terrorising people in balaclava.

The only way Reform will 'save money' in power is to screw over every single British person who votes for them. And they will welcome it, just like the MAGA cult do.

This person has clearly never commuted to work via Blackpool North during the school holidays. An unbareable cocophany of children crying and parents having arguments.

.. imagine risking your life on an American naval ship off the coast of Iran only to find that Jared Kushner is making casual $1.5bn war-bets on Polymarket.

.. if Russia declared war on NATO tomorrow and there was a serious invasion of Europe, I'd be running to the nearest Royal Navy recruitment centre. Chances of me volunteering to help the UK join a Trump oil-profiteering war? Zero. Less than zero.

So tired of stock market BS - "Markets crash after Trump says deranged thing" .. "Markets rally after Trump reverses deranged thing". Repeat by the day, all whilst our daily costs go up and up and up.

Reform are saying the quiet parts out loud now, hopefully this starts a drop in their YouGov polling points. 'Moderates' and 'small c' conservatives won't want ICE, they'll just go back to the Tories.

'House our homeless instead of immigrants', say the people who give exactly £0 to charity, and step over the homeless people in the city centre on a daily basis.

Looks depressingly like publicans will go down the same road as farmers: pretending that they genuinely believe all their problems are down to the government, and that all these problems magically appeared in July 2024, after years of uninterrupted bliss before that point. #UKPubs

.. when Reform types talk about 'our culture', they basically just mean 'getting drunk at the weekend, starting racist chants at the football, putting bets on the horses, going to Benidorm on holiday' - that's the culture they are trying to 'defend'. Basically the party of lads, lads, lads.

.. watched Clear and Present Danger this afternoon - seemed appropriate after Venezuela .. though *spoiler* the President gets in trouble at the end, massively unrealistic for 2026..
