One aspect of economic illiteracy being still pursued even with a change of government: take money off those people that spend all of their income, leave money with those people that save virtually all their income. Not a great way to create demand within the economy and hence growth.

Trump doesn’t give a shit about peace just plundering the natural resources of bombed, raped and pillaged lands. He’s a common thief stealing from corpses in the wreckage whilst siding with the perpetrator and there’s not enough words in the English language to describe how much I hate the bastard.

I've been listening to Arthur Alexander greatest hits on Spotify and it takes me back to the early 60s and a record shop on Congleton where I heard Funny How Time Slips Away. I ordered it as an American import and had to wait for weeks for it to be delivered. Brilliant.

Just listening to Late for the Sky album by Jackson Brown again. Just brilliant songwriting and performance, very McCartney-esque in its storytelling. It just shows how artists like this can go beyond geography and domestic culture. .
