Just amazing: Trump grew angry over a Biden-era program with the word "equity" in its name, so he ended it. But a key part of the program was sending money to red states to expand internet access in rural/MAGA country. Now they might not get it. New piece from me: newrepublic.com/article/1950...

She’s a rock star in my opinion. Mexico should be proud of her
BREAKING: Mexican President Sheinbaum argues that if cartels are deemed terrorist orgs, then the suppliers of weapons—over 74% of which come FROM the U.S.—should ALSO face accountability for enabling terrorism. As a result, Mexico is expanding its lawsuit targeting U.S gun manufacturers. 🇲🇽
Yup. That’s the Republicans play book. If you can’t win, steal it.
Let’s be very clear here. North Carolina Republicans are trying to: *steal *cheat *disenfranchise *lie their way to a state Supreme Court seat they lost at the ballot box. Stay focused on this; oppose their shameful actions and protect democracy. www.washingtonpost.com/politics/202...

Speaking of relevant experience, almost none of Trump’s proposed Cabinet members have any. What they do have is money and, in many cases, deep conflicts of interest with the agencies they will be tasked with running.

Yes, Donald Trump won. But the choices he’s making are disastrous. Democrats should say so. And they should start doing so now, instead of waving the green flag for all these scoundrels in the name of bipartisanship. From @alexshephard.bsky.social newrepublic.com/article/1891...
More hypocrisy? Yup. That’s the republicans for you.
So, the very same Republicans who said they blocked the release of the House ethics report on Matt Gaetz because he is no longer an elected official, are vowing to further investigate Hunter Biden, who is not now, and has never been, an elected official? Do I have that about right?
