So I discovered that the bagpipe song I really like times perfectly with the Napoleon Dynamite dance. Then a bunch of other stuff happened and I am so sorry but this exists now and I'm far less sorry than previously implied.

So this weekend I helped out at Gaelcon, where thanks to the very generous people attending we raised over 8000 Euro for charity.

Here's a photo of a helicopter landed on Joanne's 227 foot support yacht that follows around her 290 foot main yacht

Productive day so far. Cleaned the driveway with Fiadh, rice cooker cleaned and lunch boxes cleaned, and now updates on laptops for Gaelcon.

One of the nicest things from ironmouse subathon for me, was finding some new streamers to watch. @shaoanvt.bsky.social being one of them.

Oh no how will I get through a day without using something I don't ever use in the first place.......

Star Trek is 60 years old. No other media has had such an impact on my life as it has. My love of science, my desire to learn, my desire to work with computers and tech, and indirectly leading to me meeting my partner who I have been with for 26 years. Live Long and Prosper all.

Hey you, the person reading this, who's wondering are you good enough, do you deserve love and friendship? You do. You're awesome. World is better for you being here. Keep being you!

Dolly, Tim, Peter Those three did a lot on their lives. Brought a lot of joy to many. Did a lot of good too. I will remember them all fondly. I will speak their names. Because as long as your name is spoken, your memory lives on, and a part of you lives on.

We have had bad luck in our life when it comes to plumbing and water and leaks. Now the ensuite shower the pump seems to not be able to pump to it, unless the bath in the main bathroom is running.... WTF? I am no plumber but...what?

The joy of using an older AMD based machine to run bazzite so you can share your steam library with your family on a dedicated machine that they just turn on, and bam straight into Steam Big Picture mode.

Normalize telling convention staff each and every time we find a vendor selling AI anything. Make it clear it bothers you and that it’s considered art theft. Either more cons will learn to cut the rot out & foster a better creative space for our communities, or we learn which cons can’t be trusted.

When your friends new album arrives on vinyl and your evening is set in epic music. Hell yes.

I am currently actively seeking new clients to work with. If you're looking for a cognitive accessibility consultant, sensitivity reader (LGBT or Disability topics), or a mock reviewer, please reach out. Also looking for freelance news /reviews / guides work. LauraKBuzzOfficial@Gmail.com

Spent this morning while doing the grocery shopping with my better half discussing if buying a slim (not super slim) PS3 for hackery and jailbreaking as our old fat one is dead, or just get the Kingdom Hearts collection on steam. Yay nerdy conversations!

It's hers to do as she wishes. It's a bloody card. If it brings her happiness good for her. Those foaming at the mouths, you might need to go out and touch grass.

Why yes we are dancing around the kitchen to Illit this morning thanks to my offspring.

Gather your party and face off against world-ending threats, or end the world with your own two hands. Baldur’s Gate 3 is now 30% off this week as we celebrate three years of adventure 🦑

Grief is strange.

So had a lovely day today, spent it in the company of some lovely people, including one @sonicmega.bsky.social who is just a delight to be around. Those of you going to Belfast Anime & Gaming con are in for a treat! Bring him good snacks!

Want to know how awesome my offspring is? They are making, in bulk, kandi (candy? You know the bead things) stars to give to people at Comiccon who they think look awesome.

Yesterday my screens all went black. Due to the heat my pc thermally tripped and shut down, it is so hot that it cannot actively cool itself enough. I now have a fan pointed directly at them, but that was a moment. Houses in Ireland, new houses, are designed to trap heat. With this weather :(

Today is father's day in Ireland (and a lot of other places). My daughter who adored @gooseworx.bsky.social The Amazing Digital Circus, compared me to Kinger as a dad. Not in the absent minded Kinger way. In the "cares for everyone" way. Quite the compliment.

The good ending! I admit as a cis guy I’ve struggled about how to approach Jax’s pronouns. I’ve heard mixed things about using a trans person’s correct pronouns if they aren’t out yet - and Jax never got the chance to open up about that. But if Goose refers to Jax as she, that works for me!

When out and what do I find? Now I have @alexrochonva.bsky.social and @lizzierfreeman.bsky.social in my house. Need to get everyone if they get them in.

Favourite part of seeing episode 8 on the big screen was @alexrochonva.bsky.social giving it beans with his musical number. And the audience all singing along. Reminded me of Rocky Horror in the best of ways.

Thanks to @glitchprod.com I am looking forward to go to see The Last Act in cinema in just over a month. And my God Caine shirt arrived today. And I'm bringing a bunch of teenagers (my own included) to see it. LET MADNESS REIGN!

Today our western hognose, Cookie, ate her first larger mouse. No longer on day old pinkies. She of course tried to start from the side because she's like that......but she did maneuver it and get it all sorted in the end.

Now, there's nothing stopping you making that 'we must get together' happen with old friends and new.

Watched the latest The Amazing Digital Circus episode. @alexrochonva.bsky.social How much did you push your voice for that episode? Seriously impressive stuff.

Having gotten both, signed, I heartily recommend if you want an interesting and highly accurate, though fictionalised, look into working in Game Development, get Who Hunts the Whale. Or for interesting stories about game butts, Things I learned from Marios Butt is hysterically funny.

Reaching out to void, my offspring has panicked as their pinterest appears to have gone poof. Checking around, reddit pinterest is reporting it. Yet Pinterest own health says all is good. Clearly it's not. Anyone else seeing the same thing?

@marissalenti.com today in Dublin you made my daughter's day when you not only accepted a kandi bracelet she made, and wore it, but gave her one back. A small gesture but meant the world to her. Thank you for being such a lovely person.

I've never really won anything in any place I've worked before. Today I won employee of the month. I didn't expect it. Wasn't looking for it. I was just working away in my new position and well, apparently it was noticed.

@larianstudios.com Had a great chat with some of your team at Dublin City Comic Con yesterday. To sum it up, you are all awesome, and your generosity is just immense.

@strayfawnstudio.bsky.social Just finished The Wandering Village today. After playing it as it evolved during early access, it was well worth the money and the time. Kudos to your devs, your writers, and your musicians.

@piratesoftware.live BEANS! It is so lovely.

You, I wanna take you to the Gay Spar. I wanna take you to the Gay Spar I wanna take you to the Gay Spar I wanna take you to the Gay Spar, Gay Spar, Gay Spar. Let's get a roll, a chicken fillet roll! At the Gay Spar, Gay Spar, Gay Spar.

So far we're ok with the storm. There is rattling of roof tiles now and again, but I don't think any have come off. Still have power, internet, water. There are alot of power outages though across the country.

We are facing down possibly the strongest recorded storm to hit Ireland, ever. All hands, brace for impact.

@piratesoftware.live congrats on your award! Well deserved.

So in good news, Baldur's Gate 3 is on sale. So there is that.

Wake up this morning, truenas server warns me a disk in my main pool is having issues. Yay Raidz2 across 6 disks, not a problem, no data loss. And I have a cold spare. So how'd your Sunday start?
