honestly I think we simplify line of action too much? one pose can have multiple lines of action, it's up to you to decide which to emphasize and which to push into the background or have both up front and use them to either complement or fight with each other to make interesting poses

...will definitely change the intent and feel of the pose, but both lines also definitely exist.

usually it's presented like a pose has ONE line of action, and that's IT and I just can't agree on every pose. And it makes it REALLY confusing for new artists who aren't aware there will be multiple lines they have to choose between on some not even so extreme poses.

I need fewer games that try to rush me through the story quests and more games that give me good reasons to keep putting them off
