Two victories in California! Governor Newsom just signed into law: ✅ The Home Energy Choice Act, giving homeowners the choice and support needed to electrify their homes. ✅ The Community First Coal Review Act, requiring environmental review of large coal projects.

By ending the 100-foot rule, utility regulators will get rid of an incentive that favors new gas hookups and give New Yorkers the freedom to choose the energy systems that make sense for their homes.
