While I’m not strong enough to influence more direct social change, I can work on bettering myself and influencing and carrying those around me. Even if it’s just a quick “safe room” I can provide my loved ones. I’m deeply inspired by my family’s roots that have escaped tyranny in the past. 2/3

Kindness and care for others were a core value that kept them moving even when they had nothing. Thankfully I’m still further than where they started which gives me hope when the media machine tells me to give up. 3/3
