I moved all my clients over to @lettermint.co this year for their email needs. In total it must be about 15K emails a month so not a massive number but not tiny either. I love using an EU based provider, their support has been good, the interface and dashboard is great. I really recommend them! 💚

When we talk about the costs that LLMs impose on society we should not forget the fact that nothing works anymore because everyone is so scared of getting their shit scraped. I can't even use google scholar from my university or starlink because they send too much traffic.

For CSS #Interop2026 I’d love to see grid rules working everywhere. Saves a lot of awkward ::before and ::after or other hacks.

Wow!

I am having a particularly frustrating week, so here’s one of the best things I’ve ever done. The eruption of Sarychev Peak in the Aleutian Islands, seen by the crew of the space station. www.nasa.gov/image-articl...

One feature I’d love in #CSS is being able to use grid columns as containers for contain queries. Would save a lot of need for wrappers. So often I want to control an element placed in grid but need to wrap it - this then breaks things like stretching the height.

This shows the stupidity of AI systems in more ways than them just getting lost here. There shouldn’t be a traffic jam with them trying to pass each other. They should communicate and coordinate but they have zero actual awareness or intelligence.

This reminds me of when I searched for help once. There was a result from many years previous, exact same problem - fantastic. Loaded the page and saw it was something I'd posted all those years ago and forgotten about. There were no answers either. 😅

Fuck me AI support agents are fucking dumb shit. They can’t even understand the features of their own platform and go in shitty loops.

Anyone else experienced ‘new’ Outlook rendering emails differently in the reading pane (right) and popped-out window (left)? It’s like the reading panes looses some CSS. Email creasted using the Mailchimp builder.

We spent years making things like email newsletters opt-in, fought hard to get control over cookies, pushed for better privacy. So why do AI companies insist that every interaction, every piece of data they collect, every name they use should be opt-out? How do we change this thinking?

I love how businesses like One'Trust' fail so heavily in their UX. They're ultimately not about protecting, they're about maximising what data is collected whilst barely complying with requirements. It's amazing how humans can turn anything into an industry. GPC is a wonderful idea though.

Hardly the most critical thing but seeing Google incorrectly say Van Dijk scored an own goal (he scored in the correct net but it was first reported to be an own goal by a Sunderland player) hardly gives me confidence is AI. If it gets this easy thing wrong how many complex things does it get wrong?

If you’re getting an Undefined array key "Total" error in my Storyblok package update to 2.50.1. The API response changed. Investigating why but this will keep it working for you for now.

And the docs are updated with the latest features: ls.sirric.co.uk/docs/2.0/ove...
