I have eaten the gerrymanders that were in the state election board and which you were probably saving for the midterms Forgive me they were delicious so risky and so conservative

Alex Pretti was a colleague at the VA. We hired him to recruit for our trial. He became an ICU nurse- I lover working with him. He was a good kind person who lived to help and these fuckers executed him. White. Hot. Rage.

Today is the day. Right now hundreds of Minnesota businesses and institutions are shut down. Thousands of people are refusing to work. There’s a massive picket at the airport. Minnesota’s resistance to ICE today is changing the tenor our fight against fascism. www.jphilll.com/p/the-first-...

The effort to explicitly protect NCAR during the appropriations process has, unfortunately, been unsuccessful. For now, NCAR is still operating as usual. While the future remains uncertain, and disappointingly entwined with partisan political retribution, the broader fight continues.

Farmers are celebrating the bailout as “Christmas coming early.” Meanwhile, many of the same voices insisted students didn’t deserve loan relief because they should “pull themselves up by their bootstraps.”

When the #Epstein files are release, we will have the victims fill in all the redacted names. NOBODY escapes accountability.

If it takes 1000 FBI agents or just 1000 people to redact his name from the files, then the dumbass is in deep trouble, because 1000 more people know he is in the Epstein files an insane number of times. 😏 It will only take a few of them to leak it to the media. 👍👍 MAY THE LEAKING BEGIN NOW. 👍👍

i'm actually skeptical that the cartel is going to send another boat to retrieve/continue the run of a small vessel that is being surveilled by the US military and already attacked once.

It's great that reporting on the double tap has spotlighted the abject criminality of this Administration. But don't forget: Venezuela is not waging war on America or Americans, and the men killed were not combatants. The first strike was every bit as illegal as the second.

The Nuzzi/RFK story is “the logical endpoint of a system that spent years rewarding access over adversarial reporting, personality over institutional credibility, and personal narrative over professional distance.” 👏👏 Via @colbyhall.bsky.social www.mediaite.com/opinion/the-...

The Department of Justice (DOJ) quietly shared state voter-registration data with the Department of Homeland Security (DHS), despite earlier assurances to state election officials that the information would only be used for routine voter-list maintenance. Beginning in May 2025, DOJ

One way to show solidarity without becoming "part of the story" -- which is a great fear for many in the press corps -- is for the next reporter to repeat the same question that the insulted journalist was trying to ask. And then again. And, if necessary, again. Until he answers the question

…and then the rest of the White House press corps pushed back against the president’s gratuitous insult aimed at one of their colleagues? Oh wait! There’s no sign that anything like that happened! Because access beats out solidarity, every day of the week. people.com/donald-trump...

Meanwhile, consider this. A GREAT NUMBER of beltway scribes wasted time last fall obsessing abt Nuzzi's sexting life rather than focusing on dangers of electing a fascist. And now, Condé Nast has chosen Nuzzi over Tean Vogue's exceptional political reporting (and the 5 journos who stood up for it).

The issue with “voter ID” isn’t the ID. It’s which IDs are allowed and who gets blocked. Gun licenses count but student IDs don’t. Tribal IDs don’t. Millions of eligible voters, seniors, students, low-income workers, get shut out. If it were about security, every gov-issued ID would count.
