Maybe the massive push for AI is from the oil and tech execs that know they completely f'd the planet by continuing to profit from biofuels in the face of climate change, and they need a superhuman brain to come up with a solution before we all burn.

AI leaders: AI will change everything! Massive impact to how we work, live, and think! Only a 10% chance of human extinction! We will rule the world!!! Everyone else: Maybe some oversight and regulation... AI leaders: No, we'll self regulate. Promise.

Two skaters, one mega ramp, boards swapped mid-air 21 meters up. This is one of the hardest tricks in skateboarding, born on the same ramp Danny Way used to jump the Grand Canyon.

I've always thought FUMP would be a succinct, lightly coded alternative to Fuck Trump. Works well on stickers. The left's version of Let's Go Brandon.

Apparently I've been added to a "Putin bots to block" pack? Huh? Id be interested to know what post of mine is was the catalyst for this... I think Xers figured out the best way to disrupt Bluesky is to provide one-click mass blocking with scary titles.

So if a loved one is dying because they can't afford the medical bills to keep them alive, the only way to get government assistance is to have them win a seat in Congress.

Everyone on the right was excited at the thought of Trump running the U.S. "like a business". Unfortunately that business seems to be is more Taj Mahal and Trump University than Costco and Morgan Stanley.

So take a moment and consider that for every dollar spent on a government construction project, Trump and his family make 10¢ on the dollar through kickbacks. Now consider the ballroom. The pool. The helipad. The changes to the helipad. The gold statues. The jet retrofit. The monument...

EXCLUSIVE: 404 Media has obtained a coaching guide that Flock surveillance gives to police about “how to speak to city councils about public safety technology.” @jasonkoebler.bsky.social reports. Read the full story here: www.404media.co/own-the-narr...

If the goal of this administration was to literally cull the U.S. population by targeting those they deem unworthy: the poor, old, sick, and minorities... What would they be doing differently?

Why do we all just give Trump a pass on not knowing percentages? He's propped up by the GOP as a brilliant businessman, but he can't calculate PERCENTAGES?!?!? Seriously?

Man pitches 'Shepherd Safety' to city council—a service that tracks politicians the exact same way Flock Safety tracks us. This shouldn't be satire...everyone should be watching “Authority” like a hawk. TT: @coachtd87

Face cams, phone cams, drone cams, security cams, dystopian levels of surveillance... And we can't say for sure if a US Senator is alive? No intrepid journalist can get to the bottom of this? Unless the GOP scattered his ashes from Air Force One, I expected someone to have cracked the case by now.

Ever wonder how to get rid of a mattress? Or how to find resources for a neighbor in need? Call 311.    311 is contacted 100,000 times every day, 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year. No call is too small.    So on the anniversary of 311 (3/11), I decided to answer some of those calls myself.

Of course now we will see Fox News show a bunch of Twitter/Bluesky posts from randos gleeful reacting to the passing of LG, and use them to condemn the Democratic party in general.

No one should be surprised by the two sided reporting of Big News. They are still a business, and they know two things: Objective criticism of the left does not lose Democrats. Objective criticism of the right loses Republicans.

Mitch McConnell hasn’t been seen or heard from in 25 days in the hospital. Yet he still has a job, still getting paid, and getting unlimited world class healthcare. The man who voted against a living wage, against universal healthcare, and against guaranteed paid leave, is now getting all three.

I've got Poltergeist levels of home PC issues. So frustrating. If a had one wish, it would be to know everything. I could solve world hunger issues, energy issues, war issue, and MY STUPID COMPUTER ISSUES.

What exactly is the difference between a Democrat, a Democratic Socialist, and a Leftist? What are the issues we are talking about here?

Maybe the tech elite are aware the world is heating up way faster than anticipated, and they are hoping a staggering investment in AI will result in a quick fix solution before Earth turns into a Mad Max movie.
