Two things. 1: The #FelonPresident is the 21st century's "bigly" #Traitor. 2: At $116.72US Brent may break the 2026 $118.35US high before the #Midterms. #Oil will never be cheap nor the future. #Cheap #Sustainable #RenewableEnergy 🌱🌏 #Vote #TakeTheDay #TakeAFriend #TakeFamily #Impeach #Convict 🇺🇸

Hi everyone @reverendgenes.com.au is back after a little wilderness break. Bluesky headquarters did the right thing & paused RG after an account compromise risk surfaced. After checks were done all appears to be well. Thanks @bsky.app it's great to be back. 🦋

I love writing music & playing guitar. Mostly finger style nylon string plus electric guitar & bass too. Maybe I'm unlucky. Maybe I just played too much. Just had surgery to remove floating bone & cartilage in my right elbow. Ouch? Yep. But not the bill. #UniversalHealthCare #FreePublicHealth 🇦🇺🐨🏥

Backyard stuff for dinner. TBH the potatoes are from the shops. 🌱🌏

Surprising? No. Sad? Yes. Why? Well? Humans are supposed to be awesome. At least that's what we keep telling ourselves. But, at the end of the day, life's a numbers game. And, if you're small, something bigger will likely take you out. Even your own country. #ClimateAction #AusPol 💔 🇦🇺 ⚖️ 🌏 🌱

Everyday USA people are being left behind. UK diesel car sales down 90%. Dealers will not trade them. Diesel is dead. The #FelonPresident will be soon too. US taxes funding Russia’s war on #Ukraine is criminal. ⚖️ 🇺🇦 ☮️ #2026Midterms #Regisiter #TakeAFriend #TakeFamily #Vote #Impeach #Convict #Rebuild

Every prosecutor wants a piece of the justice that will hopefully flow after the #2026MidTerms. No peace for the murderous #FelonPresident & associated cronies. Get at it USA. #HumanRights #ICC ⚖️ 🇺🇸 #Register #TakeAFriend #TakeFamily #TakeTheDayOff #KeepEvidence #Vote #Impeach #Convict #Rebuild

Here's our dwarf Wurtz avocado with one little avocado just starting. 5+ years in and this little tree is still not doing too well. Gets covered in flowers. Drops leaves & fruit. Not sure why. Our Shepard Avocado fruits & does really well. Are there any ideas that might help our little Wurtz? 🇦🇺🥑

Avocado flowers, though small, are really quite pretty. Here's a Wurtz avocado flower up close. Also the beginnings of a Wurtz avocado. 🥑

This spring we're planting 30 bottlebrush outside our laneway side fence. The run's about 40m x 1m. The variety is Callistemon Slim. The goal is a bottlebrush hedge that's about 2m tall, 1-1.2m deep, & that attracts bees. This little one is super keen. Flowering 7 days after planting out. 🇦🇺🐨🐝

Hover flies in the broccoli this morning. 🇦🇺 🥦

Buckle up Australia. Spring's already stupid hot. Chances are summer will be worse. Time to get your #Bushfire plan sorted. 🇦🇺🐨☀️🔥

Thursday morning broccoli. Take care everyone. 🇦🇺 🐨 🥦

A lil' Tim Rogers for this Wednesday evening. Come for the sequins, the hat, & the jump suit. Stay for You Am I, the songs, the spectacle, & the guitars. "Like a watter logged ball that no one wants to kick around anymore". 🇦🇺 🎸

The temperature may be bouncing around every few days by up to 13°C here in Australia. But, at least the garden is getting going. #Sprinter #Sprummer #CrazyClimate 🇦🇺🐨☀️🌱

Few of the 350 million companies worldwide make a difference. One is a true world leader. Well done #Incat from #Tasmania! 2,100 passenger & 225 vehicle capacity. Congrats #Uruguay, #Argentina, #Buquebus, #Denmark & #Molslinjen! #RenewableEnergy #CleanTransport #ClimateAction 🇦🇺 🇺🇾 🇦🇷 🇩🇰 🇪🇺 ⚡🌏 🌱

Went to the grocer, Folks thought I was cool, Been in the garden, That's not a tattoo.

Over the last two weeks sprummer has been here & then gone. 28-29°C and then back to 19°C. It's not spring and it's not summer in AU. It's something else. It's #ClimateChange. 💚 🌏 ⚖️

Sadly most people care little for other people, even less for all the other amazing life on #Earth, & #Earth itself. Collectively we keep pushing #Earth to the limit, yet we have no other home. So why care if #Corporations develop a super intelligence that decides to kill us all? #AI #Risk

It's warming up quick down here in Australia. Our avocado trees are in full flower. The small one's a dwarf Wurtz. The larger a Shepard. The Wurtz is yet to hold on to fruit. Fingers crossed for this year! The Shepard rocks. Big avocados that stay green when ripe & store well, even when cut. 🇦🇺 🥑

Anyone who says "what I've learnt in my time is that not everyone's views can be aligned at any one point in time", in an attempt to justify privatisation is the mouth piece of corruption. Community sport. Public asset. Essential service. It does not matter. #ThatsNotCricket #CricketAustralia ⚖️ 🏏 💔

Why reproduce? Assumedly, the answer's to move on. Forward? Who knows. Does it matter? Qualified folks can answer that. As for humans, why do we reproduce? Are we special? Does it matter? Will corporate AI fix education? #MoreCareful #LessCareless #ChainedToTheWheel 💔 🌏

This spring we're planting a bottle brush hedge along our laneway fence line. 30 Callistemon SLIM and also 6 Leptospurmum Aphrodite for the front garden. The SLIM bottle brush can be kept to a 60cm width & grows up to 3m high. Love the clouds reflecting in the wet decking boards. 🇦🇺 🐨

#GinaRinehart makes $3-5 billion AU p/year. #GinaRinehart loves #PaulineHanson & vice versa. "Please explain" why they can't find $1-2 billion AU p/year to help 435,000-870,000 Aussies have $2,300AU extra p/year without destroying their retirement super. Will they? No. Why? They don't care. #AusPol

This year is our best broccoli year so far. 4-6 weeks harvesting Romanesco broccoli & now weeks of green broccoli have come online. Awesome! Beans, summer squash, pumpkin, & zucchini seeds are also in. 🥦 #Homegrown #Veggies

Well there it is. No surprise. 2026 was Australia's warmest winter ever. So what's that feel like? For northern hemisphere folk, it feels like winter was autumn, & spring feels like summer. So no winter & no spring. Just hot, or not so hot. 2 seasons. That's it. Few care. #ClimateChange 💔 🌏
