Brandon Woodruff just walked to the bullpen mound and is getting loose. I repeat: Brandon Woodruff just walked to the bullpen mound and is getting loose.

Montana political ads are a genre unto themselves. They are very mean and (often) very funny. You can tell the super PAC ads because they don’t have that local flavor.

Anyway, I'm gonna keep plugging this article mostly because it's the kind of thing they sent me on the road to do. It's only possible through the support of our members plus.fangraphs.com/product/fang...

Massive 3s from Jamal and Joker, a second-chance dunk from Gordon, a Brazile steal and a couple of Murray FTs tie the game with 16.8 seconds left. Pelicans timeout.

Wikipedia It’s a community-driven reference work committed to providing good information to the world. Before Wikipedia, owning a set of encyclopedias was prohibitively expensive. Now, that information available to everyone. And it’s constantly updated. (It’s not perfect, but it’s a net good.)

Social media loves talking about how everything is getting worse. But what’s something that you’ve seen get _better_ in your lifetime?

BTW, this is a realization I’ve come to only over the last three or four years. But the deliberate destruction of the internet and the commitment of some to destroying access to good information make Wikipedia even more important.

And to my fellow baseball fans — or whatever kind of nerd (complimentary!) you happen to be — Wikipedia can use your knowledge. Setting up an account is easy, and the editor is a dream. Share your knowledge with others! (Bored at Christmas two years ago, I started the Zach Agnos page!)

your local baseball team used to on local tv around 50 games per season, and your only way to see other teams were if they were on the nbc game of the week, plus games on wgn and tbs now you can see ~90% of all games from all teams with one package
