Ok!!!

For all its faults, MGS4 is still a fantastic experience and a really ambitious title (even for today!) so I’m glad more people get to actually play it for themselves

If you’re a guy, when you turn 20, you have to make sure to have read a few manga not made for teenage boys or else you’re gonna be arguing about which battle Shonen has more women per page online forever.

NYC residents love to talk about specific AMC locations like they’re recognizable landmarks on par with the Statue of Liberty and World Trade Center

They should invent unlicensed therapists. Guys you just go talk to and they say “damn that’s crazy…” for discounted rates.

“Come on, just one more tour pleeeeease just one more tour and I’m out” - the girls

They don’t let you make anything this cool anymore. They get you if you try

Need Burn (2026) to get proper subtitles so I can dm people with Darumi pfps and tell them to watch it

“2016 was a good year” revisionism is the clearest sign the person you’re talking to is 22 years old

My biggest issue with Our Hero, Balthazar is that the Randy Stair/Danny Phantom thing is just an on the nose reference to show “elite ball knowledge” about shootings. This story doesn’t really resemble it. It’s too observational without commitment. Eddington with messier craft

You used to be able to tell a restaurant is good if the owner only kinda knows how to photograph food, but all the AI stuff looks like Dead Space environmental textures

ELRIC OF MELNIBONÉ 2024

Saw “Predators” and now I’m really obsessed with the idea of “CrimeCon”. They got AnimeNYC for people who check for guys under their car in every parking lot

I understand (to a degree) people who say “last time I was truly happy was when I was a teenager hanging out with my friends” but man, at some point you gotta cut the nostalgia wojak shit out before you hurt yourself

I like that you all argue if Hibike Euphonium is Yuribait or not even after all these years. Most anime from 2015 despawned after 2020

You guys remember “Brink”? The 2011 multiplayer shooter with parkour. My friends and I were convinced it was going to be so awesome so we traded in stuff to get it week one, played it maybe twice, and soon realized.

“C3P0 test” you’re reinventing Detroit Become Human

I like that this place is entirely made of people who wish they could quit the internet entirely, but know they can’t

In 2040 if you ask for a raise, you get kidnapped and turned into these by Waymo

Every day there’s an article saying like “they found Las Plagas in ketchup” and I mentally file it as the 8th most important thing to worry about that week

Moving every copy of the Darumi novel to the “Biographies” section

Getting into a Japanese band from an anime is undignified, as opposed to the “charts of rate your music dot com”

They’re arguing about what being goth “really” means on twitter. Be thankful you aren’t there

Reddit begging you to download the app to read anything is really pushing it. I’m not here by choice, man.

Did you guys hear about this

Talking about anime on Twitter sucks ass you gotta just avoid doing that entirely

4th of July got the Zera Special like our proud soldiers in the Hikari Club

My discord is Regularaugust too btw
