This is an entire article about how tips are about showing gratitude and not simply for showing off money. wtf is wrong with these people that they thought this was news worthy?

There’s probably a reason for the kid gloves, but non-state media needs to drop the performative neutrality and become exactly what they’re accused of being. Stop pretending; if they’re calling you biased propaganda anyway, lean into it and make it count.
I wonder how the TV and radio journalists can keep a straight face, when it should be obvious to everyone now that Trump is raving, babbling mad.
Bluesky ladies and gentlemen, this guy’s purity test is so strict that stopping an authoritarian somehow doesn’t qualify.
Fuck vote blue no matter who. If all this madness isn't enough to get the Democrats to field a candidate who can support trans rights and be against genocide they're telling me they don't want my vote and I'm happy to oblige. I'm not voting for a more polite Trump. Full stop.

Feel free to tell me all about it. Also race riots in Benton harbor, LA, Minnesota and Ferguson had effects. I know you probably don’t feel them so obviously they failed.
No one teaches American history anymore. This and the Boston Massacre are the two most quoted and most misunderstood stories of the revolution over the past day.
What a wildly privileged take. I can think of one time where it worked really well, somewhere is Boston, I believe Tea may have been involved.
I guess no one’s ever going to learn the lesson that rioting in the streets almost always benefits the right wing in American politics. Save me your speeches about Watts. It’s been almost a perfect record since 1968.
@brownchubbybear.bsky.social If you believe this is world-changing tech, most of your evidence comes from people who need it to be. skeptics, on the other hand, can point to billions spent and almost nothing real to show for it. belief is easy when you’re invested, proof takes more work.
What telling my daughter about white genocide in South Africa taught me about b2b sales.
Just told my 10yo daughter about Elon Musk. She had tears in her eyes. And then she did the Wakanda pose and said "#Muskanda forever"—which is the sort of pop culture cross-over I can celebrate. And then she asked if it's true that there's white genocide in Muskanda.

I miss this city a lot sometimes, except that it’s in Florida.
1. Florida banned cities from lighting up bridges rainbow colors for Pride. So the people of Jacksonville did it themselves using flashlights and gels. They opened the drawbridge to block them. So they marched to a different bridge. The latest from S. Baum. Subscribe to support our journalism.

The NBA should want to eliminate anything that makes it harder to just play basketball. When the game turns into a performance to fool refs, it stops being basketball and starts being bad theater.
"Degrading the sport" is the actual problem with foul grifting and flopping, though. This is all a game played for entertainment. It isn't life-and-death stuff. Being unsporting sucks generally and is also less entertaining.
I don’t think posts like this help anyone reflect or understand the meaning behind the holiday. They just come off as self-righteous and end up alienating people instead of encouraging any real thought or respect.
This is just a reminder that saying Happy Memorial Day isn't an appropriate way of memorializing veterans who made the ultimate sacrifice. It's NOT a day of celebration but a somber day of remembrance Veterans Day CELEBRATES the vet. Memorial Day, HONORS the vet There's a difference #USDemocracy
I am often dismayed by my home state of Indiana, but Pete is out there proving that no state is a monolith. I hope I get the chance to vote for this man again, and this time not for mayor.
If we’re serious about more efficient government and better everyday life in America - which we all should be - that means actually improving government, not cutting health care for poor people and slashing support for veterans.
