Not every socialist idea leads to a North Korea–style regime. If that’s what someone means by socialism, I’m out too. But we never seem to talk about shared prosperity models like Sweden, Italy, or Norway, where people actually thrive.

They slipped in a hemp ban like we wouldn’t notice. They let us know at every turn they don’t seek to represent us, but to control us. Government’s supposed to serve the people, not silence them. Where is our say in the laws that shape our lives?

None of the Dem Senators (or Democratic-caucusing) who voted yes on the CR are worried about reelection: • Dick Durbin – IL – Retiring 2026 • Catherine Cortez Masto – NV – Up 2028 • Jacky Rosen – NV – Up 2030 • John Fetterman – PA – Up 2028 • Maggie Hassan – NH – Up 2028 1/2

I'd like to see a state pass a bill like this somewhere where the focus would be water use by data centers. Slap a per gallon fee on their water usage. Slap that fee on everyone using a lot of water. Put it into a sovereign wealth fund like Alaska and issue an annual universal dividend like Alaska.

I think we under-estimate how many people are miserable because they have no enthusiasms, no hobbies, because they gave up reading and quit learning when school ended. It's shocking how much studying a beloved subject elevates your mood. It will transform your life.

Unpopular opinion: I don’t care if America’s an economic powerhouse or “beats China.” I just want people to have housing, healthcare, food, and safety. We’re chasing boss babe goals when we should be chasing community care and rest.

Unpopular opinion: I used to think the big innovations that made life easier came from people who genuinely wanted to improve the world. Turns out, a lot of them were just stepping stones for some of the worst people to gain power and influence.

In April 2024 I bought my sister a toaster for under $20. Today, the same exact toaster is almost $60. Nothing changed about it… Same toaster, triple the cost. Welcome to the economy in 2025. That’s not inflation.. That’s frikking robbery.

Can we stop politicizing food and health? I get that extremists have hijacked what used to be normal conversations, but it’s exhausting having to explain simple, nonpartisan concepts over and over.

A lot of people don’t realize raw milk is common in places like France, Germany, and the UK too. It’s not just a “red vs blue” thing that the US has turned it into. In many countries it’s simply part of food culture.

The world’s on fire. Gaza & East Turkestan genocides in full swing. Political unrest here at home. Financial instability everywhere. Civil rights getting rolled back like it’s a retro trend. Are ppl still paying attention or are we burned out from it all yet?

Anyone else dealing with this? You call your doctor’s number and it’s now some hospital system maze. Just trying to reach your own care team feels impossible. Apps help, but not when you need same day answers. Healthcare shouldn’t be this hard to navigate.

Remember when trains were constantly derailing? Then planes fell from the sky. Wildfires, floods. Just because it’s not in the headlines doesn’t mean those communities are okay now. Most never recovered, and the government is still doing next to nothing.
