Why #politicalsatire still matters... Gulliver’s Travels: The Broligarchy isn’t predicting the future. It’s doing what the best satire always does — taking what already exists, pushing it forward a few steps, and asking us to sit with the result.

One of the reasons people are drawn to political satire is that it creates distance without disengagement. When something is too close — too raw — we shut down. When it’s too abstract — we scroll past. Satire sits in the middle.

Gulliver’s Travels: The Broligarchy is the dark, satirical follow-up to Butler’s warning: a world where corporations control power, and the fight for survival is all about influence. It’s the next chapter in dystopian fiction—and it’s more absurd, terrifying, and relevant than ever.

readingwritingrevolution.substack.comFrom Parable to The Broligarchy: A New Lens on Our FutureIf Parable of the Sower warned us about the dangers of inaction, The Broligarchy shows us the terrifying future we’re headed toward.

Political satire meets us where we are emotionally: It lets us laugh without pretending things are fine. It lets us recognize ourselves without being lectured. It lets us feel anger without drowning in it. It lets us see systems clearly without believing they’re inevitable.

We need this x10 in 2026. If you think the 2026 midterms are going to save you, you need therapy.

At the start of 2025, we knew this movement would play a pivotal role in the fight against authoritarianism. Still, we’re blown away by the level of commitment and dedication you have shown throughout a difficult year. Thank you for reminding the regime that power still belongs with the people.

Engagement is how platforms monetize loneliness by pretending it’s community. Stop counting your followers, your likes and your reposts, and start talking to people. Stop monetizing yourself and others and start seeing the people using social media as people. Then talk to them. Happy New Year!

This is a screen recording of a 60 Minutes segment about the Centro de Confinamiento del Terrorismo (CECOT) prison in El Salvador, which was intended to be aired December 22, 2025 but was pulled last minute. Despite being pulled, it aired on Global-TV in Canada anyway. archive.org/details/60mi...

Goldman: This guy is so clearly trying to follow the Putin model—using the government to make money, making sure his allies control the most important companies in the country, including our media companies, doling out money by deregulating their industries, and taking money from them in return…

We’ve had enough of this two-tiered justice system where the ultrarich never face consequences. Tell your GOP Members of Congress that constituents aren’t letting them off the hook — Republicans backed the Epstein Transparency Act and now they need to ensure the law is upheld.

act.indivisible.orgThe Epstein cover-up continues. Let's keep up the pressure on Republicans until ALL the files are released.Trump, his GOP enablers, and the Pam Bondi-led DOJ still think that – if they stall long enough – voters will forget about Jeffrey Epstein's crimes and the role Donald Trump, and some Republican megad...
