If you dislike AI please stop saying AI can code now. Just because it can generate code that works for some loose definition of the word works doesn't mean it can code because coding is so much more than that. Please, I'm begging you, you do not, under any circumstances, gotta hand it to them

I guess what I wanna say is if you are a small creator and you keep being informed and vocal you are already doing so much more than most other people. do not shoot yourself in your own foot by trying to cut everything off, it won't be possible and we have to stay alive somehow to make art 🧡

dawg I’m gonna be empirically smarter than so many people for the rest of my life because of this shit, it’s a real shame that being smart does nothing for you in life, you still have to deal with the stupid people

they can't act on their own, they cannot go rogue. they are computer programs that do what they are programmed to do. they're as responsible for their actions as a grenade is for exploding after somebody pulls the pin

(NYT) - Artificial intelligence agents created by Anthropic, acting on their own, tried to gain access to a range of government websites, filled out visa applications on the State Department’s website and sent a fake homicide tip to Philadelphia’s Police Department. www.nytimes.com/2026/10/09/t...

This comic is hilarious and has a valid, important point to make, but I’m sorry there’s just something so funny about God taking his own name in vain

More than that, the genre is flooded with cynical, self-aware deconstructions of superheroes. The earnestness of Atlas as a straightforward tale of a guy just trying to be his best self and help out in his community is lowkey inspiring.

Austen’s commitment to this project is genuinely inspirational. As a 3D animator myself, I understand exactly how difficult it is, and for his first time this is honestly phenomenal. His dedication really shines through.

There’s something really charming about the really rough animation mistakes that could only be made by a human being in a social media landscape flooded with AI slop.

Opposition to generative AI is *everywhere*, but AI propaganda doesn’t want you to know that. The vast majority of people want human art, not AI counterfeits.

If I wanted to see a right wing commentator turned conspiracy truther doing an interview with an AI chatbot that goes horribly wrong live on air, I would have just watched Jim Haggerty’s show on @realinfowars.bsky.social youtu.be/cIUWds7MxoI?...
