I just finished my 100 hours project and wanted to share it with the 100Devs community. DevLeads (devleads.site) is a complete, self-hosted lead management system I built specifically for freelance web developers. It handles everything from initial contact to final payment.(cont.) #100Devs #webdev

Yesterday, #100Devs talked about crafting a story that gets you hired! Today @grahammcbain.bsky.social who went from bootcamp grad to Senior Developer Advocate working on Amp Code is Telling their story, breaking down the agentic coding space, & giving everyone free credits in 30 mins!

broke up with my infinite to-do list this week & started running my life like a dev team instead kanban board? ✅ weekly sprints? ✅ color-coded priorities? ✅ my brain feeling less cluttered? ✅✅✅ wrote about the whole system overhaul: raisadorzback.hashnode.dev/the-current

raisadorzback.hashnode.devI Broke Up With My Infinite To-Do ListI turned my messy notes app into an organized system using Trello and agile principles. Here’s how managing life like a dev team changed everything.

Phew it's been forever since I came on here! I've been revamping the way I organize my life (blog post to come) and it got me wondering about other people's systems. How do you organize your life? How do you get done everything you need to get done? Do you have a system? Does your system work?

I posted about an app I'm working on in Reddit and got 200+ comments. I wanted to analyze them qualitatively & quantitatively. So today I built a Reddit comment extractor! It pulls comments and writes them to Google Sheets for analysis. Next steps: tagging & qualitative insights!

Today i hosted the first-ever North Jersey Tech Collective meetup, which is also the first coding & tech meetup in Sussex County, NJ! Huge thanks to everyone who came, helped, and believed in the vision. a community starts when people show up. Can’t wait for the next one!

Finally getting back into my daily coding challenges! Today I started the Neetcode 150 since Leon said if you are very comfortable w/6kyu codewars you should move on to leetcode. It's already helping me get more comfy with DSA & points me in the right direction for what to research as I learn

I'll be giving my first talk @ NY Code & Coffee this Sunday at 3pm! 🧙🏼‍♂️The Grid Grimoire: Learn to conjure clean layouts with just a few lines of code. Come learn how to harness the power of CSS. Whether you fear CSS like a cursed object or you’re just curious abt Grid, join the fun!

I'm trying to start a nightly routine to go to sleep earlier & be more restful. Been trying out an acupressure mat at night before I sleep. It's painful at first when I peel myself off of it, but then there's this warmth/calmness that comes. Have any of y'all tried one? What's your nightly routine?

Met with a new friend today at a coffee shop I've never been to before! Had a delicious iced vanilla chai latte and a brookie. It was so nice connecting with a fellow trans guy, especially in my area where the LGBTQ+ community tends to be more hidden. Then I took a long walk by the water :)

I’m starting the North Jersey Tech Collective, a new community for anyone in the area who is into tech. No gatekeeping, just connection & learning. Inspired by my Oma, who believed everyone has tools worth sharing. DM if you want in or want to help! #NJTech #TechMeetup #SussexCounty

just got off the 100devs call & hearing @roxyrodbeck.bsky.social ‘s story and experiences was really inspiring and made me want to start posting again. i’m excited to go into the job hunt parallel w my fellow 100devs! good luck Roxy can’t wait to join you in this experience :) we are all here for ya

Just filed my taxes with CashApp, highly recommend. It's my second year using them. It's actually free, unlike TurboTax which claims to be free but really isn't lol

Today it is cold out (and inside) so I am wrapped in a blanket, editing my resume, and watching the #100Devs video about preparing for the hunt!

Are you coming from front-end JavaScript & looking to learn backend? Look no further! This is a comprehensive starting place to building a full-stack CRUD app w/ #Node, #Express, and #MongoDB. Check out this blog by our friend @rai-bread.bsky.social #100Devs #webdev #mern buff.ly/3EqCclL

My first article is live! raisadorzback.hashnode.dev/crud-app This is a starting place for devs coming from frontend JavaScript to build a CRUD app w/Node, Express, and MongoDB! Code along & build a personal library app. I hope you take these skills & use them to build your own full-stack web app!

I've also been getting into the habit of figuring out the time complexity for my challenges. Today's was O(n), linear time! I also learned about a built-in JS method -- array.flat() will "flatten" an array of subarrays into a single array!

The beginning of the design for Flow State! This is the view of the kanban boards themselves on desktop and mobile. Let me know what you think, I would love feedback! The trash cans/pencils in the task cards will be white and only appear when hovered over. #100devs

Flow State Kanban functionality is coming along! Users can now create new boards, change board titles, add tasks, and drag & drop them to other columns! The design will be much different, but I'm focused on functionality first and then I will go back and do the frontend! Lmk your thoughts!

been working on a kanban board app- my first full stack app! using MongoDB, Node, and Express for backend and React & TailwindCSS for the front end. now that i have some backend knowledge i feel so POWERFUL mwahaha

said i would take a break today and then when i saw npm’s maintenance was over i ended up hyperfixated on my project for hours. lol my back hurts but i made a lot of progress on my app

My first full stack app with vanilla Node--super simple, clicking the button sends an API request to my API which serves up heads or tails and its corresponding image! #100Devs

did day 1 of advent of code tn! it’s my first time doing it & i got to use the surface of my desk as a whiteboard to illustrate the task before i coded which was so fun. are any of yall participating? im rusty on python so i solved each part in both JS and Python

it’s set in that coding isn’t in the cards for tmm and i’m not happy about it. i’m not celebrating thanksgiving but i am using tmm to spend time with my mom. which will be fun don’t get me wrong, we’re gonna see wicked. but i wanna learn more node & work on my react app tmm lol. is it just me

Been working on my Kanban board app functionality today, brushing up on state management and useEffect in React. Now, users can edit the title of their board! Before I stepped away I was implementing state management for adding tasks to the board, so that is where I'll start off next time. #100devs
