congrats, thank you, and good luck ☺️ Chatwith is in great hands 👏

My first acquisition!! 🎉 I’m the new owner of Chatwith and I’m SO excited for what’s next. Big shoutout to @rafal.fyi for building a genuinely great product 🫶 Check it out -> chatwith.tools

why did I decide to go ahead with this acquisition? - my thesis is that APIs are a great lifestyle business in the AI era - Tam's project is polished and well made, and has good initial traction - my experience with Supadata gives me confidence and ideas to grow another API onwards and upwards 😎

Please no. We could to get 27 more company types when what we actually need is ONE that works everywhere. EU-INC is our chance to do this right – once. #EUINC eu-inc.org/cta

my capacity as software creator before AI: how well & long can i lock in writing code (avoid context switching) after AI: how many AI agents can i effectively run in parallel (max context switching)

I found a prehistoric screenshot of one of my first personal websites. Entries from March 2005. 20 years ago. I was 14. Sharing an update about some new apps I'm working on, and asking for feedback. I am here for the long game :)

for indie maker, an audience is a moat but can also be a liability if your customers come only from social channels, it’ll be hard to get your product acquired a while ago I stopped pursuing social and focused on distribution channels not tied to my personal brand detach money from time ✅

I wanted to quickly build a small project with Tinybird.co, thought it'll be a smooth experience I am giving up after two days of trying to make it work 🥴 the DX is just not there... I struggled with basic things like logging into CLI and running a local instance

tinybird.coTinybird · The analytics backend for your applicationAll the infrastructure you need to ship analytics in your app. Capture, store, transform, and serve data without dependencies on external tools or teams.

perhaps I am spoiled with similar products like Supabase? idk... but getting started with a database shouldn't take 2 days IMO someone from Upwork will have an easier time with this, hopefully 🥲

yesterday I learned the hard way that having just one rotating proxy provider (even if reputable) is not enough today I have 3 different providers, with 1 min health checks and degradation notifications aiming for that 99.9% SLA for Supadata ✅

@dmytrokrasun.com shared with me that the playground is a hit at ScreenshotOne so I added one to Supadata too - but as an experiment! I want to know if a playground will drive more signups. if not - it'll be only for registered users. (I optimize for the number of signups, not interactions)

every morning I am a fisherman checking what fell into his traps over night night’s catch: 1 trial->paid in chatwith 1 trial sign up in chatwith 1 paid sign up in supadata 4 free sign ups in supadata “not too shabby”, said the fisherman

ok I might be breaking my long term belief and buying my first boilerplate 🫢 I have a very specific use case: API gateway key provisioning, metered billing, detailed usage stats, admin… TS, react/next, stripe, shadcn, supabase, betterauth anyone knows something?

ok it happened... my official business name contains a dish name somebody disputed a Stripe purchase thinking a restaurant overcharged them I should've seen this coming when incorporating 🤠

someone tried to exploit my customers' chatbots over the last two days over 1500 spam messages trying to coerce LLMs to generate formatted answers but since Chatwith has Guardrails, the chatbots were like "Sorry, can't answer this question 🤷‍♂️" after two days without success, the abuser gave up 👌

every time I get a new subscription, I immediately detach & consider it churned (esp high ticket) it’s such a killjoy... but it's a defense mechanism I developed churn still bums me out though so it's not 100% effective anyone has the same? how do you deal with loss aversion in your business?

I’m surprised stage timers were not even once one of indie hypes we had so many copies of gif generators, ai photographers, chatbot builders… and yet all copycats are sleeping on Lukas’ $30k moment.js wrapper 😄

I made $29,059 in February and worked exactly 4 hours. Not 4h/week. 4 hours during the entire month! This is the power of a SaaS product. Once the flywheel is spinning, it just keeps going.
