New post - Exploring Joule Studio skills, where I build a simple shell script to browse the skills fetched by the CLI. Maintaining cognitive fitness (I wrote the script by hand) and curiosity-driven learning (what are these skills, how do they work?). Share & enjoy! qmacro.org/blog/posts/2...

Thanks to Syntax and the team in Weinheim for organising and hosting yesterday's CodeJam and today's Inside Track events! More info to what I talked about today is here: qmacro.org/blog/posts/2... (thanks to Mattias Steiner for the action photo :-)) #SAPCAP

I´ve created a newsletter for ARC-1 so i can better talk to the users and admins of ARC-1 directly. Also just released version 1.2 with updates regarding ATC, data-source blocklist and a new Agent Plugin See release notes and how to subscribe to the Newsletter here: docs.arc-1-mcp.com/release-notes/

I'm taking a few days off, but wanted to highlight a few deep-dive series on my blog, covering various topics (UI5, Fiori, Workflow, and of course more recently various aspects of CAP). As always, share & enjoy! qmacro.org/tags/seriesp... #DeveloperAdvocacy

The bells at St Margaret's in Wrenbury are ringing in earnest, and seemingly incessantly. Reminds me of Barrowbeck. #FolkHorror

Llangollen Canal in early August 2026 near Swanley, close to Nantwich, impacting routes toward Wrenbury. The collapse- suspected to be culvert failure triggered by a fallen tree—caused localised field flooding and closed navigation heading toward Wrenbury. Photos Janis Geraghty.

Thanks to yet another breach on the Llangollen, I'm now trapped between the breach at Whitchurch, and the new one at Swanley.

Excellent thread, with longer-lived gems thrown in. I especially liked the "baroque and slightly greasy" description of AI prose.

Approximately 100 years ago when I did my English degree (1992-95), I did a course called History of the English language. We spent more time than I'd have liked on Middle English orthography, but the core text was the pithily titled "Language Change: Progress or Decay?" by Jean Aitchison

macOS taking a lead from Windows and completely failing to estimate time to complete. This progress bar has been showing "about 5 minutes remaining" for the past half an hour.

Hands-on SAP Dev is back & we're starting with a new series with some heroes of mine, on the topic of CAP in the age of AI. Expect the usual hands-on, tech content, explorations, random digressions ... and most of all learning together. Join us - episode 1 coming soon, watch this space! #SAPCAP
