Midnight could at least end with Zul’jan getting a funeral, or something with Zul’jarra as a proper emotional goodbye OR Have the Loa like Jan’alai do a solid and bring him back to life. Why has Zul’jarra suffered more loss than the characters who were actively in Xal’atath’s line of sight?

DF had some leeway with heritage stories, but this whole saga is just a different member of the Windrunner family stepping up and Blizzard going "nobody else is allowed to do anything, it's THEIR turn" Elf unity was not done for those races' stories, it was done so they could all praise Arator.

This speaks to a larger issue with Retail’s writing imo. There is too much focus on individuals or new races driving the story, and not enough on the shifting dynamics of existing factions and cultures.

I asked on Twitter why Humans get 2% crit and Orcs get 1% crit(as part of the racial adjustments in Forever). What a well-adjusted little community this is. 🙃

Aside from the visual clutter of having so much green shit on screen and the boss summoning the knockback guy during the mechanic where you need to stay on a single spot, it felt like a good amount of difficulty. 👍

Ig it was just really fortunate for Xal'atath that the magic font of holy power in Quel'thalas was able to function as a gateway to exactly her destination in the center of the world 🙃

5. Use the Sunwell to go to the Worldcore and since the Coreway is destroyed the heroes can't follow her. (end)

And for the record, no, I still strongly(even moreso now) believe that if people suck at the position they're currently in for several years, they need to be allocated to a different position cuz they clearly ain't built for it and it could not be more the case with the WoW writing team.

Everytime I bring up the matter, folks get mad at me, regardless of how tactful I am w/ my wording. It's just a volatile subject to touch on, specially with how things are going currently w/ the gaming industry.

Like, not naming names, but why are these people not being promoted?! Why are the people who clearly understands the desires of the playerbase from a narrative standpoint, not the ones being given more authority.

I mean the HS team swaps leads every expansion, I feel like WoW would benefit from a similar dev format for their patch or even its expansions. Both from a better allocation of resources and also better pacing of content drops since the increased pace of content drops has not worked out for them.

How many more of your favorite characters have to die or be ruined before we unanimously recognize and agree that it's long past time to shuffle around the writing staff cuz the current lineup clearly ain't doing it for the majority of us? They are not doing a good job and they're not improving.

And the members of their team who DO great work are clearly not the ones being uplifted and supported by the company. There are numerous quest devs whose work on just, like, minor storylines completely eclipses the quality of just about EVERYTHING the MSQ writers do.

And to voice it plain, in comparison to the writing done with these three. It shows where the narrative team stands. Yes, I am calling out the faction bias. Again and again, the treatment given to Alliance-centric characters in comparison to Horde ones is evident. There is a preference here.

These two seriously deserved better. The writing that was made for them, for the races they represent, has been an utter dumpster fire. The ending does not excuse how we got here. It does not excuse the narrative choices made. I am usually not this vocal about this. But this was disgraceful.
