The people behind #NoKings need to publicize more because I had no idea there was a rally in my town today. I already made plans too. At this point I think the best protest is boycott and vote. Not much I know, but I honestly don’t know what else to say. We need a general strike

And a big hearty FUCK YOU to Brainworm because I Not only had someone with measles working with me But I now have to fucking get a blood test done now. So unfollow me now if you’re anti vaccine

I've been thinking about next month a lot lately between midterms and my birthday. If the Republicans beat everyone (rigged), I might seriously delete all my media and just go offline completely. I dont want to be monitored. I have my only relative and dog to consider. I need them to be safe

My mom would probably be a pariah today. All of the women in my family were single moms: Grandma raised Mom after grandpa died of cancer when ma was 3 Great Aunt lost hubby in WW2 Cousin/roommate's hubby couldn't keep it in his pants and fucked a coworker.

Because I do believe this is our last chance to redeem this country. However, i seriously have no faith in my people anymore. The US that I knew is dead. We've always been a problematic country, but the fact that people would invite suffering out of spite disturbs me.

Everything i was taught to be growing up is now considered bad. Like being kind. Im not a religious woman but my grandmother and great aunt would be rolling in their grave. They were pretty liberal for their time but also staunch Catholics that did prayer cards and rosaries

So this summer, the following bs has happened to me: Lost my bank account because of a hack. Cousin/roommate had a stroke. Lost one of my closest friends to a brain bleed. Now her mother is at war with her friends but that's another story...

So here’s my 9/11 story: At the time, I was working as a cashier at a co-op and was getting ready for work listening to Howard Stern(I liked the news segments). Someone calls in and says a plane hit the WTC. This being HS, I thought it was a prank…

So I turned the tv on and lo and behold it’s true. At first I thought it was a horrible accident but nope…once the second plane hit and PA and the Pentagon happened? I knew… I remember Ashleigh Bansfield because I was watching her do the coverage.

So I get to work and it’s EVERY WHERE: radio, tv…just a general air of HOLY SHIT in the air. I also remember telling customers to avoid Philly; I mean we ain’t that far from NYC. I had to take a bus home later because no trains were running

Today has been a mellow day. Finished reading the book I bought Saturday, FINALLY got a new library card and got some Manga. And finally joined Libby because books are a fucking addiction to me 😆. I also needed to distract myself. Friend was buried today

Ok im going to vent. My friend of 30+ years died yesterday. She had a brain bleed. I now associate Dolly Parton's death with her. Met her in college and boy what a ride. We've been through everything from college to marriage and divorce (her) to parent and grandparent deaths.
