Pukima

I just tried the demo of #denshattack at #gamescom. It really reminded me of Sunset Overdrive in terms of art style and it's super fun to combo on a freaking train. Although the controls are easy to mess up in the drives haha.

In case you missed

Still can't get over switch 2 actually happening and 90% of the leaks being right 😭

yo @iconists.bsky.social! can you add the "maintenance" icon from central icons to the search results for "wrench" as well? Thanks! (searched this icon for 5 mins 😭)

I feel like in the past couple of year this one quote by Steve Jobs has become more and more relevant with Design Engineers becoming more and more relevant, and I'm here for it! "Design is not just what it looks like and feels like. Design is how it works."

Reading design books won’t give you taste. Watching design trends won’t give you taste. Doing the work and failing repeatedly will.

Ditch the "good enough" mentality. Life's too short to settle for mediocre work. Aim for work that is high-end, bold, and visionary. But most of all, aim for work that lasts. The ordinary has no staying power.

#MarvelRivals is really fun. Holy.

finally

I just completed "Historian Hysteria" - Day 1 - Advent of Code 2024 #AdventOfCode adventofcode.com/2024/day/1

one of the most important things in the pruducts i‘ve build. so excited to see how many languages we can support at @voicenext.app till launch 🚀

For me, design has always been about more than just functionality. Aim to create work that resonates, inspires, and can stand the test of time.

i agree (i wrote that post btw)

Alright React Native and Expo Devs. If you had one advice to your past self before jumping right into RN Development, what would it be? (FYI Building my first RN App rn haha)

So I made another starter pack 😅 Some are design-focused devs, others are designers who write code. @jhey.dev @michaelandreuzza.com @ladyofcode.com @poppacalypse.bsky.social kicking it off! Who should I add to this pack? 🔁 Pls repost for visibility #buildinginpublic go.bsky.app/7XhrmoU

Someone helping test the latest build #gamedev

React Devs, I need your help... I am way too lazy to write my own ThemeProvider, so I wanna know if there is a package like next-themes, but for plain ol' React. Because most packages are either too complicated or are super outdated and not working anymore.

69 followers...hehe nice

i'm the developer behind that sadly 😭

hey. today i'm gonna try and rewrite the @voicenext.app codebase to use react, because next.js is not working too well with capacitor, since we can just work with client side code. wish me luck 🤞 #buildinginpublic

A really great read: justinjay.wang/methods-for-... Discovered it through @fonsmans.com :)
