Sign up for our November course. Ideal for PhD students and early career researchers/staff. It is about how to create a survey and cognitive task in PsyToolkit, and the ideas behind a well designed study. It is about the software, as well as survey methodology. www.psytoolkit.org/course_nov26...

We had a short mistake in the compilation of new experiments in the morning of 11 October. This is fixed and was due to a new feature that did not work. This error did not affect any running study, it only affected compiling new experiments.

For R-users: We just submitted the latest R package to R-CRAN. PsyToolkit's R library is extremely useful. We will soon make a tutorial video for YouTube. One example improvement: You can now very easily export all your data including processed cognitive experiment data to one single Excel File.

Please note: Version 3.7.0 has been made an "old" version, but it still works fine. It is just that for new projects, we recommend the latest upgrade. If you experience any problems, please notify us immediately via email. Over the summer, we work on further improvements of the platform.

Now that the 3.7.2 upgrade is ready, the next step over the summer will focus on improve styling of the website and surveys for the next upgrade. This is actually a lot of work but it is important. I might run a focus group. If you are interested, please email me via psytoolkit@gmail.com

In the upgraded version, if you use the "showdata" option or check the experiment library, it looks much nicer and there is a button to simply copy the whole table. #psytoolkit #psychology #online #research

We have now released the beta with a number of improvements. Please try how it works for you. Report all your problems to psytoolkit@gmail.com #psychology

The next PsyToolkit upgrade will come out soon. Lots of new improvements and easier coding with "folding options". It also has improved built-in library for quick experiment copying from official library. Lots of minor improvements. #psychology #PsyToolkit #online #research #science

Highly recommended read. It is a magazine commentary. It raises interesting psychological questions of why we observe this phenomenon the was we do. I'd love to investigate, anyone wants to work with me on this? Reply or email me @thespectator1828.bsky.social spectator.com/article/the-...

The new 3.7.0 version is now the current new version. It comes with many new features actually. I will follow up with a tutorial video soon.

Only for R users. You can now install the PsyToolkit R package directly from the official R repositories as follows: install.package("PsyToolkit") Note the capitalisation (P and T are capitals) It also comes with a PDF and HTML documentation. cran.r-project.org/web/packages...
