Hey, I'm as happy as the rest of you that China's AI movie bombed hard, but let's not pretend that the success of that shitty cow cartoon is some kind of inspirational "Real art always wins" story, when everybody only just watched it to make fun of it.

Rest in peace to actor and screenwriter Walter Koenig, who passed yesterday at the age of 90. Koenig will be forever remembered as Chekov in STAR TREK and Alfred Bester in BABYLON 5. STARLOG sends our love to his family, friends, and infinite fans.

Oh damn, not Eric Bauza. I read an interview with him a few years ago and he seemed so incredibly passionate about his profession and especially Looney Tunes. He clearly had achieved his ultimate lifegoal when he became the voice of Bugs Bunny and the other characters. RiP

Looking back at it, I think my biggest personal sell-out was in my last years of school, when I wore the scarf of a nearby football (soccer, for you Americans) team and pretended that I cared, just because not being into football as a boy was just weird in 90s Germany (And probably still is).

On Halloween I live for 19 years in this apartment and I'm still traumatized by the move. That was one big shitshow. The move before that one went super smooth. The difference: For the smooth one I hired some friends, for the unsmooth one I got professionals.

Man, I wish they would've done I PLAY ROCKY 20ish years ago, when Stallone was that humble has-been who was having a comeback with surprisingly good ROCKY & RAMBO sequels and self-deprecating Q&As on Ain't It Cool News, instead of now, when he is a Nazi supporter. I would've watched it then!

I also saw at some point in the 00s a new performance capture technology in which the actor's face was covered with a fine powder, so that the computer would be able to catch every single detail of it. Also never heard of it again.

DEAD MEAT is one of the very few (less than 5) YouTube channels that I watch and I enjoyed seeing it grow from "One awkwardly fast talking man makes fun but amateurish horror movie recaps" to the horror scene fixture that it is now.

My next movie will be the 80th this year, which is my minimum movie goal. Perfect would be 150 but the last time I actually broke that number was in 2019. Ever since then I had some serious trouble to watch enough movies per year. The last few years averaged in the 60s.

Every once in a while a movie uses a promotional picture that for some reason is used in every single article about it and it annoys the shit out of me to see it over and over and over and you can guess that this post was triggered by YOU CAN SEE EVERYTHING.

Not saying that SNL UK is better than the original. They have more or less the same good to bad ratio. BUT right now their good sketches are much better than the American good sketches! (And their Weekend Update is delightfully vicious)

You own “Who’s on First”, a comedy routine repopularized by its use in “You Can See Everything”. In 2016, the estates of Abbott and Costello sued the producers of “Hand to God” over the skit’s inclusion. The use was ruled to be infringing were it not for the fact it was never formally copyrighted.
