Just watching Star Wars Attack of the Clones and realised it was from 2002. Even Yoda looks young in it.

Looks like a bug in the latest Firefox (or at least the Dev edition) where you can no longer highlight the URL bar. That's rather infuriating.

And the DVLA subsection within it. How many times do you want my previous address? FIVE. And on the last postcode lookup you said you couldn't find it, when it did the LAST FOUR TIMES!

Well it doesn't look like the thunderstorms will make it this far south, lightning detector is getting hits from 20-odd miles away though.

It just briefly hit 37C here in central Bedfordshire. I should have bought that air con unit last year, I would have forgotten the price by now.

I'm selling some radios (don't worry, not all!) if anyone's interested? - Icom ID-5100E, boxed, £480. - Icom IC-706MkIIG & LDG IT-100 tuner, both boxed, £430. - Yaesu FT-101D, double boxed although outer is a little tatty, power supply (v. heavy). Open to offers. Let me know!

ZX Interface 1s seem to sell for a lot more than I'd expect ... why is that? It's not like they're rare or anything *looks at four of them*

Hello. I'm about to sell a load of stuff on eBay but wondered if anyone here fancies this Volex TTX 2000S teletext adaptor for the ZX Spectrum. Comes with two (for some reason) manuals. I can't test this of course :) #sinclair #spectrum #teletext

Just put Jarre's Destination Docklands on, I remember it was chucking it down that night and I could see the light show illuminating the bottom of the clouds from Fuller Road in Watford, 20 miles away.

I'd forgotten about the "Make America Kittens Again" browser plugin until a mate on IRC mentioned it tonight. Installed.

Watched Twilight Zone: The Movie last night and realised Nancy Cartwright (as Ethel) is in Segment 3, the voice of Bart Simpson!

Just wasted 4 hours trying to get a Samsung Q990F connected to the Samsung SmartThings phone app. Doesn't work, sending it back. Jesus christ I hate "apps" and app-based things.

This would appear to be a problem with either the SmartThings app, or Samsung's back-end, since I've seen others have the exact same problem in the past 24 hours. I would have bought separates but I'm not made of money and wanted something semi-portable :(

While I was in MK today (the shopping centre is a horrific grid-maze, like the town) I consoled myself with the latest Retro Gamer for the Spectrum content, and The Best Of The Pointer Sisters on CD which was only £6.

I've spent the past few days setting up a new projector. Why are "apps" so poor? Input is hard work, even using the Nebula Connect phone application which doesn't always seem to work with keyboard input. And if you use MFA (you should!), JFC.

Just finished watching Close Encounters and realised it's 49 years old. Then realised so is Star Wars. Then realised ... yeah you get the picture.

Went to David's in Letchworth today, such a good shop, we could spend hours in there. Had a great poached eggs on sourdough from Miss Green Fingers after.

I had an MLA-30+ loop delivered today, once I make a 3.5mm jack to SMA connector I'm hoping to actually hear something on HF from my bedside PL-880.

I've been looking at Curta mechanical calculators for a very long time, but it's a significant sum for what would essentially be a shelf queen. Perhaps an end-of-line model from 1972 (my birth year). Does anyone reading have one?
