Only those individuals and businesses making more than $500,000 a year would see their taxes increase. The measure would bring in $2 billion in additional state funding annually for child care, healthcare, and K-12 education.

The wealthy are afraid of paying their fair share. As a retiree who will not be withdrawing anything close to $500,000 per year, I will absolutely get a tax break with Amendment 87. If I were the uber wealth, the increase on my post $500k would not hurt me. I'd be proud to fund CO awesomeness.
