Support for alternate appviews is available on some current and upcoming third party apps. Tested as working on iOS ‘skeets for bluesky’ app. As noted by comments, the blacksky appview is still loading info and may appear ‘buggy’ still for a while.

The "Torment Nexus" post is about a condition created by a tech leader, that took a cautionary tale of a horrible design choice by a technology company as an reason to implement a horrible design choice. This seems obvious... and yet.

Adding to growing list of accounts afoul of moderators, @spacelawshitpost.me (fka @knilirabaj.bsky.social) is currently suspended. Reason for suspension has not been shared. Adding to questions- account may be hosted in outside PDS, raising question about scope of suspensions under federation.

some posters have shared that bsky suspensions occur on the Appview level, and blacksky does not (yet) have an independent Appview. Once it (or other hosts) have their own Appview, they will be able to override bsky.app suspensions.

Several accounts describing correspondence btwn Link and Bsky moderators indicating reason for the ban was inciting violence by sharing an image of Charlie Kirk, taken just before his murder. Some, but not all descriptions, have said it was in a reply to bsky staff but I have no confirmation yet.

Many describe moderation action as ‘permaban’. Past suspension notes described bans as indefinite or provided timeframe for suspension. Early indefinite bans were lifted when bsky left beta. Moderation decisions are not often explained publicly, but they sometimes respond to journalist inquiries.

Stovey has been here from very early, and early bsky enjoyed much needed happy moments from their heroic efforts to like posts. Not a bot. Not a bit. She read our shite, and liked the stuff that was passably good. If you see old accounts sad and angry to hear they've been treated badly, that's why.

Laurelai Bailey is a social media and blogging personality that has been involved in many controversies. May or may not have a bsky alt. She has been cited for (and denies) membership in LulzSec hacking group. Sometimes associated with Shinigami Eyes. FBI Informant and SA claims have also been made.
