Now @arsenalfc.bsky.social has won its first Premier League title in 22 years, it feels like a great time to post about my love for the club. I first heard about it from a few newspaper articles all the way back in 2005, liked the yellow O2 away kit, and hopped in for a wild ride. #Arsenal

Scenes from the Arsenal Mumbai supporters' club celebrations yesterday. It was a lovely bunch. Everyone stood up and applauded Mo Salah's farewell for Liverpool too.

A lifelong dream came true in 2024, when I visited the Arsenal stadium in North London. Walked around the entire area and I finally understood why football is so big in the UK. It's as deeply rooted in the local culture as cricket is here in India.

And here we are now, 21 years after I first started supporting this beautiful football club. Arsenal has finally won the Premier League title. If you'd told me in 2005 that Arsenal wouldn't win this title for over two decades, I still wouldn't pick any other club.

The lack of trophies and frequent disappointments in all competitions only made me support the club more. Us Arsenal fans must love pain, as we endured a lot of it. We still found lots of joy in the better games: 2-1 against Barca, 2-0 Bayern Munich, 4-4 Liverpool, 7-5 Reading and so many others.

The first trophy of my time as an Arsenal fan arrived a full nine years after I began following it. That 2014 FA Cup win, coming back from 2-0 down to win it, will always be my favorite Arsenal trophy. A few more FA Cup wins would follow, but the big trophies were still out of reach.

That year, Arsenal went all the way to the Champions League final, which ended in heartbreak. I was drawn to the club because it was the first time the club made it to the CL final, and I saw a bunch of highlights of the beautiful football under Arsene Wenger.

I bought my first replica kit in 2006, and it was that same yellow away kit with Pires' name at the back. Soon, it became clear that Arsenal was going to be the underdog for the foreseeable future. I watched every game that I could on TV, often staying up till 4am for the big European nights.

Going underground till I’m done with A Parade of Horribles. Every book in Dungeon Crawler Carl is awesome, so I hope this one lives up to the hype. See you on the other side! #BookSky #TeamDonut

Just finished reading The Sunlit Man by Brandon Sanderson. Really enjoyed the world building in this one, and the connection to the Stormlight universe. Always a fan of a good underdog story. I wish the antagonist was less of a pantomime villain, but the book is enjoyable regardless. #BookSky

Now I’ve read two of Sanderson’s four secret project books. Overall Tress of the Emerald Sea is the better novel, and Sunlit Man is a close second for me.

I’ve read around a dozen Sanderson books so far, but nothing comes close to The Way of Kings. That probably will always be my favorite Cosmere book.

Come to think of it, the book had its own adventure on its way to me. It went from Hastings to London to New Delhi to Bhopal to Mumbai. The kindness of strangers brought me a lot of joy and I’m so grateful. My heart is full today.

I'm using my new Kindle without an Amazon account and that sent me down a rabbit hole looking for DRM-free ebook stores. Turns out that there are lots of options and you don't really need the Kindle store to buy books at all. lifehacker.com/tech/how-to-...

I just realized that I have around 250 games in my Epic Games library but I haven't bought or played a single one of them. I keep claiming the free games whenever I see them, not even sure why lol

I just finished book 5 of Dungeon Crawler Carl and wow… this series just keeps getting better. It really goes beyond the stats and power progression, and sets up a much bigger endgame. Can't wait to read the rest of this series.

In a car, I start to feel nauseous if I look at a screen or read a book. Since Apple launched Vehicle Motion Cues last year, I've finally been able to use my iPhone when I'm a passenger in vehicles. So glad it's coming to Mac lifehacker.com/tech/ios-abo...

Apple's security prompts are bordering on paranoia now. I took a screenshot on my iPhone and sent it to my Mac, and now Apple won't let me open it. This is ridiculous!
