How you get better and innovative is by questioning everything and accepting nothing. Is the way we've been doing this; how other people have done it; is it even valid? If so, how can we improve and make it easier and better? If not, how can we blow this up and make it perfect?

After a cycle of mostly support and framework updates, as well as educational material development, we are back to business. As I mentioned last year on @timeextension64, it's a goal to enable new devs to enter the FPGA world, so I have new material, examples and code to help.

I've been working on educational material for the past few weeks. What topics would you like to see covered in the learning series? What are the current gaps preventing you from making an FPGA core? I have a full core (along with new core) training coming soon as well.

Folks, I have said it before in our discord, but I will repeat here again that I do not make political statements nor am I affiliated with any particular political causes. Never donated. I respect that people have different views, but I just don't think it's relevant to discuss.

In preparation for the new work coming on MiSTer this quarter, I have set the original Raizing_FPGA repo as read only and archived it. Atrac has been very hard at work revamping code for new toaplan2 stuff. We will release a new version with greatly increased accuracy. Game on!

My friends! I had hoped to restock by the end of January, but it's looking I'll have the entire inventory (including DIY edge-enhancers) refreshed my (this month) February. The newly imposed tariff has changed everything. Please support small businesses! We are trying!

I've been ranting that I keep buying the same Cave games every year. And I own the same games across multiple systems and the arcade pcbs. I've been loyal! Why are they ignoring my top favorites Pink Sweets and Ibara? I feel an EXA version is in order.

Let's just say I know a LOT more about the MiSTer during our framework creation in the past few weeks than I did during the past several years actually making cores for it. I think we can make some magic happen here! #CoinOpCollection

I like these mini old PCs, I have the A500 mini, C64 mini, and this here is the x68000z mini. It's kind of strange compared to the others. You need 2 SD cards to simulate each of the 5.5" floppies, and the loading speed is also simulated. Horizontal scrolling is messed up I think

RT4K is arcade certified and is the very best and most advanced scaler according to our testing. It works with anything and everything you throw at it, no matter what format. This is the only scaler I use in my setup that has a pocket, NG and Exa Arcadia (RT4K scaler is better than software in Exa).

Happy NYE! 1. RT4KCE: Lower cost 4K that still retains the core inputs, profiles and features - Feb/Mar. 2. Dongles: A family of high quality console to HD15 adapters and 75 ohm cables. 3. MINIs: Returns week of 1/5 retrotink.com/post/holiday... Side by side photo by @austinbroth.bsky.social

Batrider or Battle Bakraid? I think Batrider has a more flexible and less disciplined design, but Bakraid has better game mechanics. I like the idea of a fixed chain route and get massive points as opposed to a light Garegga experience. When is M2 going to put out Batrider and Bakraid??

100% legit MiSTer I found while cleaning. Don't know where the memory card for it went though. Will be doing some work on it as the members of the #CoinOpCollection club voted for in Q1. Will see what happens. Was a close vote between this and TUnit.
