Rising costs, ICE violence, and billionaires and fascists trying to keep you from voting — it’s all connected.

To divide and distract us from the misery they’re creating, the billionaires and politicians blame immigrants, trans folks, and people of color. To further their intimidation tactics, Trump and his cronies have turned to state violence. Corporations and billionaires power and profit off that too.

The high prices and masked thugs will keep happening until we stop the fascists, rein in the corporations, and make our government work for our communities. We can’t meaningfully address the cost of living or state violence without taking apart the authoritarian machine.

#2: Amazon funds election deniers, despite promising not to. That includes politicians who voted against certifying the 2020 election, and giving half a million dollars to a dark money organization that encouraged people to join the January 6 ‘Stop the Steal’ rally at the Capitol.

#3: Amazon’s alignment with Trump has been great for Amazon. Amazon’s participation coincides with massive benefits, at the people’s expense: $3.672 billion in federal contracts, and a handout of $8 billion of our tax dollars.

#1: Amazon data centers are powering Trump’s voter elimination tool. The ‘SAVE’ database at DHS falsely tags eligible voters for removal. It’s more likely to falsely tag new Americans, Black people, older people, people who’ve changed their names, the list goes on. SAVE runs on Amazon servers.

Election sabotage is like a machine: Trump might push the start button, but corporations provide key parts of the engine. By throwing sand in the gears or pulling out some cogs, we can stop that machine.

People all across the country are taking action to demand corporations stand up for free and democratic election. In LA, Culver City and Friends Rising marched on Amazon Studios, Sony, Apple, and Pinterest. #AmazonHandsOffDemocracy #WorkersOverBillionaires #HandsOffOurVote #PullOutThePillar
