The discussion on @pablo.show about "You can see every thing" was great cause they both had unique viewpoints on moments in the film where i was on a completly different set of thoughts. Loved the perspectives they had.

I genuinely dont understand how that is even conceptually supposed to work. No payments to insurance companies. Money (from where??) goes directly to consumers. Consumers then buy.... insurance? Repeat????
Trump: "We will pass a truly great healthcare plan that will stop all payments to big insurance companies"
When i read "thirsty swing state" my mind went to a very different place than this article.
As the Colorado River shrinks and a Southwest “megadrought” drags on, water is top-of-mind. The traditionally wonky topic has become a major issue in midterm races, showcasing just how concerned the public is about the Southwest’s water future.

I can't exactly explain why, but this really reminds me of when people would try to defend napster and file sharing as not stealing. It is what it is. You can choose to be ok with it, but don't pretend it is something it's not. Comparatively this could end up way worse for real artists.
In defence of AI slop: we should embrace open access to creativity, not condemn it Look past the Donald Trump superhero memes and the new software gives us the chance to democratise creative production. No wonder art’s cultural gatekeepers are worried ✍️ Jack Riley https://bit.ly/3SpzFQ4

Just found a fun Easter egg in one of the other 17-0 games today. And giving #12 to @minakimes.bsky.social is a nice touch.
Sometimes I think Trump must think so little of the intelligence of his base when he says stuff like this. Then I realize that he straight up believes the irrational unrealistic things he is saying. To him, the truth is whatever aligns most closely with what he wants reality to be.
Trump: "We drained the beautiful 'Reflecting Pool' today in order to fix the scars and damage that was done by the Vandals 2 weeks ago. We wanted to wait until after July 4. The slashes were 300 yards long, and the floor of the pool was cut and then pulled upward, with great force, by these thugs."

This reminds me of when during Covid he at the podium asked the dr. (whose name I cant remember) if bleach in the human body might help. A shocking combo of ignorance and hubris that he thought he might have just randomly thought up a cure in that moment where experts had failed in months of effort
Trump: "No president has ever taken a cognitive test except me. I've taken three of them. One in the first administration. They're hard. The first question is easy. You have a lion, a bear, an alligator, and a squirrel. 'Which is the squirrel?'"
