break wasnt very productive so im back to doing comms wahoo, having a much better time compared to pre-break working so i think it was worthwhile

the way my brain has wrapped around it is that its easier to keep 3d being the 'work' medium and then doing 2d for my personal art enrichment which has been nice, so i feel like i dont revolve my life around comms I have the itching to get back into game dev too... maybe just a jam...... soon.......

no one told me it was rabbit day yesterday or that it was a thing.. I'm still working on this guy, he needs more details and a proper texturing. I was gonna simplify my artstyle and go low poly but I got carried away and decided to focus up on my anatomy/topology a bit which is why taking a while

progress has been really slow on this, I've been living in my parent's trailer for a bit at this terrible place called 'outdoors' which is new to me and really relaxing, but also means dont have a lot of computer time I've been redoing his outfit, and redoing anatomy, but on to textures now i think

also experiementingingin with a 2d eye thing.. not really a rig or anything its just flat geometry and shape keys so its messy, i'll figure that out tho, ive never really done a face rig in ages either,, idk what im doing!!

also his antlers canonically are snapped off I only modelled them attached for reference which is why they kinda look like theyre not fully attached because theyre not!1! I'll go more in to his lore once i finish setting up my old site again, still a lot i gotta set up with this guy too

done with everything as of yesterday (3 days late but I'm never on time), I'm already working on my oc models and I'm also hoping to put some time to dusting off my neocities for my art / writing / blog, I think has been over a year since I touched my non-portfolio site @@ I'm feeling inspired tho!!

Planning to have all of my commissions done and finalized by at least the 20th, and then close for until ~ november-janurary, depending on how things go. I've been very inspired for what I want to make once I start my break have plans to flesh out my littoel story, lots of plans! fingers crossed!!

I have no timeline or roadmap but current plans - redo my artstyle a lil bit - renders, tiny animations - start a comic? always wanted to try that - get back in to game dev (small projects 🤏) - build up an audience, then big game project I'm a lil burnt out with game dev, but it is still my passion
