I worked with leaders on both sides of the river as Secretary of Transportation to help get funding for the Brent Spence Bridge Project across the finish line. For about 20 years, people only talked about making something happen - now, we actually are.

Pete Buttigieg came out during an election year. Then he won more votes than he had the first time. He tells Native Land Pod what that risk taught him about trust, service, and how minds can change. #NativeLandPod

Describing the current U.S. political system as "completely broken," Sec. Pete Buttigieg urged the audience to think bigger and push for significant constitutional or legislative changes, such as passing a single federal law to end partisan gerrymandering. www.unionleader.com/news/politic...

That's right - you're the good Secretary Pete and Hegseth is the bad Secretary Pete. He's the sociopathic drunk who should not be commanding anything. He's a serial harasser too. You're a servant leader and loving husband and father who has saved women from assault.

Because the Democratic Party welcomes DEI candidates with open arms, there will always be some aspect that bigots don’t like. Female - AOC, Harris, Whitmer Black - Moore, Booker, Warnock Jewish - Ossoff, Pritzker, Shapiro Gay - Buttigieg Too Short - Kelly, Raskin, Buttigieg, Shapiro ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Every time I say AOC someone says "she can't win" and I'm like NOT WITH THAT ATTITUDE SHE CAN'T! My mom's firmly Team Buttigieg who I wouldn't mind and he's a veteran but his sexuality is going to be a thing. I hate that it will be but it will be.

This is the interview Trump’s FCC doesn’t want you to see. We’re not just going up against the most corrupt politician in Texas. We’re going up against this entire corrupt system.

Pete was also the most pro consumer and pro union DOT secretary we’ve ever had. Claiming he’s a corporate Dem is blatantly dishonest.

Just stop. There’s a max they can donate, plus Pete’s never taken corporate PAC $. He’s the only one who’s pushed for big structural reform 8 yrs, his #1 priority is getting $ out of politics, & he’s the only Dem who went to Montana to help get signatures for the Montana Plan ballot initiative. -—>

Are you afraid of encountering opposing viewpoints on social media? That’s why you turn off replies? That means you aren’t secure enough in your position to defend it & demand obedience to your way of thinking by threatening to w/hold your support unless *liberals* bend the knee. That’s childish.

Nicole Marie@nicolemarie.bsky.social

Or Buttigieg. Or Kelly, or Harris again.

That means you would never would have voted for Bernie Sanders. Even though @trackaipac.com conveniently lied about his track record of donations. Be careful who you trust to give you accurate information instead of doing your own research.

Nicole Marie@nicolemarie.bsky.social

If you put up any candidates that support Israel, we on the left are not going to vote for them so I suggest you get rid of those people ASAP.

Buttigieg: In 2019, people looked at me funny when I said, "I don't think we have the right number of justices on the Supreme Court. I don't think we have the right way of choosing justices." Miller: I'll give you credit on this. The very first time we met, you said this.

If all income in excess of $400,000 were subject to the Social Security payroll tax, Social Security’s solvency would be guaranteed forever. We could also expand Social Security benefits. There’s no reason even to consider reducing Social Security benefits or raising the age of eligibility.

Pete has many qualities. Outside of being really smart & articulate, one of his strongest assets is taking in from people around him. Pete grew enormously serving in the Biden administration where he was given huge responsibility & surrounded by experience. He aced the opportunity-He’s Excellent.

@petebuttigieg.bsky.social with a reminder: MAGA is at most about a third of the country. He doesn't deny Trump won, but he says the real opening is with the many who voted this way and aren't really MAGA. Full episode here: https://youtu.be/r46rV6pMR-M

youtu.beSecretary Pete Buttigieg: Fatherhood, Politics and 2028 | At Our TablePete Buttigieg talks with us about fatherhood, public life, and what Democrats must understand about a country frustrated with the political status quo. Nearly a decade after he and Jaime Harrison competed for DNC chair, the former mayor and cabinet secretary reflects on how becoming a husband and father changed the stakes of his political work and the personal cost of staying in the fight. Isn’t Buttigieg average size for a man? Zelensky doesn’t seem to have an issue with being average, but maybe Americans are much more swayed by physical characteristics that have nothing to do with ability to lead.

Pete has urged Democrats to do this since 2016. That's why all former DNC chairs endorsed his bid for that job in 2017. Now he's finally in a position to do something on his own.

👀 the leftists “bend the knee” as Abdul moves toward the center in order to bring more Democrats over so he can win the general in November. Pete Buttigieg will lead that effort to keep that Senate seat.
