Today is a momentous day for the workers of Arena! After months of planning, waiting and organizing, our dream is finally a reality; the votes have been counted, and our union of UWOTC-CWA has been officially elected. From this day forward, we have a union!

We need to hear from YOU! Want to provide input on a possible program that would bring original short-form adventure content exclusively to FoundryVTT? Fill out this survey and help us broaden our digital journeys in Starfinder and Pathfinder! Complete the survey: buff.ly/4LvDqLS

I have also worked with Ivis, so I can confirm that she is great and that you should hire her. And @lynnemeyer.bsky.social, and @spellsinsugar.bsky.social, and @sketching101.bsky.social, and all the others. Hire 'em all.

Time to kick the elephant out of the room: Yes, I'm one of the people Paizo's laying off, my last day being July 7th. My heart is broken to leave the best team I've ever worked with - a team I've learned so much from. If you know of any game designer or developer openings, I'd love to talk to you.

I was laid off as a part of this restructuring. I loved working on Starfinder during my time at Paizo, with all of my amazing colleagues, who then became cherished friends. I hope folks enjoy my work in Tech Core, especially the Tactical Starship Combat rules. paizo.com/blog/paizo-r...

Unfortunately, I've been laid off as part of Paizo's recent restructuring (paizo.com/blog/paizo-r...). I'm reopening my public commissions while I look for what's next; if you've been looking for an excuse to get your TTRPG character illustrated, please reach out!

If you're looking for ways to support the Paizo employees affected by yesterday's layoffs, this is probably a good place to start. www.reddit.com/r/Pathfinder...

Hopefully WotC does the right thing and voluntarily accepts the union (they won't), but regardless, the real challenge is what comes next: not just negotiating a strong contract, but actually holding management accountable when they inevitably begin ignoring and, eventually, flagrantly violating it.

Specifically: virtual tabletop development, hydrokinesis, and/or the ability to resurrect the dead, in no particular order

Hmm. What an interesting story.

Because people are asking: of course The Pig gets a token in the #DraconicCodex pack

I don't agree with his Bart-killing policy ... but I do approve of his Selma-killing policy

Never forget: this is the reason @unitedpaizoworkers.bsky.social were voluntarily recognized and the first US TTRPG union successfully formed. 4 years ago, these freelancers stood up for us and risked their own livelihoods to empower us to win the rights we enjoy today. Thank you all. bit.ly/4gxtBNm

To everyone who's already donated money and/or time to this, you have my utmost appreciation and gratitude. If anybody out there has a moment to help me further signal boost, I'd appreciate it immensely if you could help me out with a repost or a share on your platform of choice. gofund.me/61871bbec

It's easy to get hung up on exceptions, but the reality is that the TTRPG community are some of the kindest, most generous, and just plain coolest people I've had the good fortune to meet. I don't have words to express the gratitude I'm feeling right now, so please just know how awesome you all are.

Not an ad... This is literally just me scrolling through all the items we've made for #DnD and #Pathfinder2E and being proud of it. So fucking proud.

Important reminder today that Hulk Hogan was not just a piece of shit; he was a treacherous, backstabbing, anti-union piece of shit. www.thesportster.com/wwe-hulk-hog... Also, I was one of maybe 17 living people who ever visited Hulk Hogan's PastaMania, so I can authoritatively state that it sucked.

If you're a fan of @foundryvtt.bsky.social, one of the awesome people who helps make it great has a brother who could really use your help. If you're not a fan of @foundryvtt.bsky.social, that's cool too, you can just help them out because you're a good person. www.gofundme.com/f/fix-adrien...

Apropos of nothing, I am reminded of that time when I used to work for Xbox on the MS Redmond campus that a whole team of contractors had to pick up one day and move to new offices because one of the FTEs complained that he didn’t want to sit so close to the peasants www.theverge.com/news/698468/...

Happy Last Day With All Your Fingers Day to those who will be celebrating

I really look forward to the day we can get back to calling out imperfect legislators for bad positions instead of reluctantly uniting behind them because they’re the only alternative we have to the worst human beings on the planet

I mean, I know wtf, but seriously wtf

Literally my only complaint about "Sinners" was that we didn't get to see more of these guys. I respect the decision not to risk ruining a near-perfect movie by turning it into a franchise, but I would absolutely watch a spinoff about Choctaw vampire hunters.

In honor of Pride month, if you donate $5 to a queer person, a Palestinian fundraiser, or former Starfinder designer Owen K.C. Stephens' cancer bills fundraiser, you can reroll one (1) Pathfinder roll. www.gofundme.com/f/help-owen-... I work for Paizo, so your GM has to listen to me.
