I kindly disagree that Bitcoin has zero utility. It enables instant, global transactions without central authorities, aligning with Aristotle's principles of money as a medium of exchange, measure of value, and store of value. Unlike gold, cash, or USD, it doesn't need intermediaries. #Bitcoin

PS - I still love Bitcoin! 💙 I also think many retail buyers may be frustrated it hasn’t surged like gold. But crypto’s not dead. Strong fundamentals and tech back many tokens. It’s just that fear and uncertainty are driving investors into gold right now. (Gold's current price doesn't lie.)

One reason I love Bitcoin is because it FIGHTS inflation. Inflation is CRUSHING the working poor and middle class. 1. 35-40% house price bump over past 5 years. 2. 20-25% insurance bump in the last 5 years. 3. 25-30% grocery bump in the last 5 years. 4. All the while oligarchs report record profit.

These are the official numbers. I can argue that pricing has increased way beyond the figures above. (I could argue that grocery prices have DOUBLED in the last 5 years, where I live in Greater Boston, at least. This is indicative of crippling inflation, something that destroys your cash's value.)

I believe that Bitcoin is way more resilient to inflation compared to traditional currencies. That's the main reason I love Bitcoin and support many cryptocurrencies. It gives lowly peasants (like me) the chance to SAVE without the value getting eroded into thin air via predatory monetary policy.
